LOCAL SYBIRACS | Fates remembered in memory

The film is the result of the project "Local Sybiracs - Fates remembered in memory".
We heve invited Sybiracs and their families from the Brodnica poviat and the surrounding area, as well as students of the Center for Vocational and Continuing Education in Brodnica, listeners of the Labor Corps in Brodnica to the project.
The main part of the project was to collect oral messages about the lives of Sybiracs and their families from witnesses to history. These messages were collected by volunteers from the Center for Vocational and Continuing Education in Brodnica and the Labor Corps in Brodnica through meetings with Sybiracs.
The project was inspired by the need to support the local community in the development of patriotic attitudes, especially during Russia's aggression against Ukraine. As well as the need to integrate the local community on the basis of a common history, integration and activation of older people - Sybiracs and their family members, integration and activation of young people, and integration and activation of older people with young people.
The main goal was to preserve and convey the history of local heroes - Sybiracs and their families, in a way accessible to the modern recipient of messages, i.e. using sound, visual and multimedia solutions.
The project is under the honorary patronage of the Marshal of the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship, Piotr Całbecki.
The project is co-financed by the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship.
