smoker rider noooooo I have a 2 stroke and I’ve been riding for years you rev it to warm it up if you let it idle for too long it will foul the spark plug oil will build up in your exhaust packing and pipe As long as ur not rev lineing it for a long time it will be fine And you won’t rip your piston rings it’s ok to rev it Anyone seeing this and getting confused it’s ok to warm your bike up Just if you have a 2 stroke not for too long 4 strokes need to warm up for a lot longer
Maxophone 52 Mate, you don’t rip it wide open when you start it, you can rev it a tiny bit. I usually let mine idle for 2-3 minutes until I put my gear on. Then I will ride it around calmly then, once it’s warm, I’ll go wide open. You don’t ever go wide open on a cold bike.

Nissan_ I know but it doesn’t really do any harm unless you hold it wide open
