Dink inspired to write stories by myself and also curiosity and ,adventure into deep forests, mountains.etc ..I would dream a lot of scenes from Dink..and even looked for secret pathways to nearby hills from another hill...lol...and when i became a Hero in the game..My self esteem was so boosted...and felt great..!!! Thanks for making Dink..Its a great memory from my childhood!!

I can't believe you interviewed Seth the creator! If I had the opportunity I would ask him about many kirks and seemly cut content on the game, like the pig and the dink's body in the darklands, the houses you can't enter and the snow cabin with a ham outside.
My parents bought me my first desktop computer in November of 1999, I was 11 years old at that time. One of my father's coworkers gave us a couple of CD-ROMs from computer and gaming magazines as a gift, one was a full version of Dr. Radiaki (a wacky DooM clone). The other disc was from a PC Gamer magazine (July of 98 issue). Its main attraction is that it had a demo of Final Fantasy VII, which I couldn't got it to run (I think because it only supported 3DFX Voodoo graphics cards and had no software graphics mode). Frustrated, I browsed thru the rest of the demos that disc had to offer, and there there was a game called Dink Smallwood. The succinct description of the game was enough to catch my interest. Booted the demo, got instantly hooked in to it. After finishing it, it left me wanting for more action, more adventure, more humor and, yes, more duck decapitation. Shortly after I got access to internet and I found out that the game was freeware so I downloaded it, finished the full version and started downloading mods.
Found the game in a Czech PC Magazine came with it. I loved it. I think theres a real cult following in Poland and Czechia around the game because of it.

I never felt so happy like that again. What I wouldn't do to play this game again for the first time to feel the excitement..

Ksenocyd Ten film był już prawie cały po angielsku. Jego przerobienie nie było problemem. A ogólny plan jest taki, żeby tłumaczeniem zajął się ktoś inny. To tylko wprawka :)

Co sprawiło, że powrócił pomysł z kanałem anglojęzycznym? Powiększenie redakcji? Tak czy inaczej powodzenia :) Widziałem materiał już po polsku, ale odpalę by posłuchać, wykwintnego, brytyjskiego akcentu Archona. Pozdro600

I still have Dink Smallwood in my 11 year old Linux pc.
I played it as abandonware. Loved it.
Oh god after 20 years I rediscovered it, back then I probably had the demo and was too scared to progress from all the gore! 😂
