Thank you I'm really excited about knowing how to make a profile. I very much like doing hand drawn lines and I will be watching your handrail and shake video when I find it.
Wrinkle tool by far is my favorite but I love that you went over all the options. Can you let me know if the video that you did on hand drawn shapes is the video where you drew a vintage camera? I would think that's the one because you certainly covered hand drawn shapes in that video.
good I love it :D now I can make my logo with a hand touch feeling but how is the best way to make a brush from it ? I mean when I make a long lines everything looks great but when I am making a short lines there appears more wrinkles.
For shorter lines you can experiment with the brush settings. Select the shorter line, click the Options of Selected Object icon at the foot of the Brushes palette and adjust the setting for just this brush, that might help. Alternately make a couple of brushes - one best for shorter lines and one for longer ones.
Great lesson: I was surprised that the brushes are only saved with the file: what if you want your custom brush to be for any new document? Also once you make a slightly artistic line and you find it is a bit too artistic, what is the best way to make it more subtle. For instance, I would imagine a command that averaged the height so the peaks are lower and the valleys are higher would be good. I just don't know how to do that best.
Yes, you should be able to do some of these techniques with shapes rather than lines. Thank you for stopping by my channel. Thank you for stopping by my channel.
Create lines in #Ilustrator that look hand drawn. While Illustrator is awesome at drawing straight lines and perfectly smooth circles sometimes you want a design with a hand drawn or sketchy look. This video illustrates a few different methods you can use to make lines look realistically hand drawn.
