If only Mr. Pawson knows that in 2023, the children of God would be benefiting from his sound teachings. God bless his lineage!!

God bless you Mr. Pawson. As a prior vehement atheist for many years, your teachings continue to augment my journey with studying the word and I'm most grateful. I'm grateful for the revelations God continues to provide me and all of those who seek Him.

The Lord bless you!!! The Lord is merciful and eternally gracious. All of us are direct beneficiaries of the wonderful teachings of this wonderful man of God. It was a life truly truly lived and Mr Pawson [clearly an accomplished biblical scholar] was a gift to mankind.

Mr Graham did not preach salvation. A person can not walk down to front of church, say a prayer and "get saved." Salvation is a process taking you" thru the wilderness" until our fleshly, selfish egotistical wicked hearts are healed. Mr Graham deceived millions with an easy gospel.

@@heatherl4013 I know many people who were saved and living a Godly life decades after responding to an invitation at a Billy Graham crusade. So the conversation was real. You can chose to focus on those that did not continue with Jesus. But you can make the same criticism of David Pawson. Despite his years of teaching the people of UK are deserting the Church in unprecedented numbers. You are no longer able to preach the Gospel in some public buildings. David Pawson has had a big influence on my life but I wonder how much he has really influenced the world.

Heather...The Bible does not teach what you are saying...that's a works salvation...how do you explain the thief on the cross?.. Jesus promised that he would be with Him that day!!...the same would hold true for anyone.

Hey James. Just doing some catching up so I hope you will see this. I am 81, been saved for about 45 years and I am finally learning things too, if we are hungry for the word (rhemata) of God we will still learn until the day we go to be with Him. Comment on some comments below;- it is the Holy Spirit, and he alone who will convict of sin and reveal the scriptures.

  • @janerowena4023
    @janerowena4023 3 ปีที่แล้ว +8

Wow, I find this staggering! I have listened to various 'talks ' by David Pawson over the years but only recently did I consider the 'unlocking the Bible ' series and that was only because I wasnt getting on very well with Leviticus and Numbers (I certainly gained a better understanding of those from listening to David's background info.). Then the minor prophets and now the new testament.
Reading whole books has been my emphasis for some time now and that changes everything because you aren't just looking at 'verses ' often out of context. What David said about Luke was a real revelation but this one of John is quite amazing. John has always been my favourite, showing who Jesus was, as David puts it, but I had no idea of all the points that David pinpointed. Would love to have been able to speak to you, David, on some of your statements but you are now out of reach. Amazing.

I could quite literally listen to him 24/7; he really brings the Bible to life, we can see Jesus, beloved John, foot and mouth Peter :) as real people, we can imagine their surroundings and it makes the Bible that much more fascinating.....Amazing 🙏

25:01 gets into the Greek "believe" is in the present continual tense so we are to "go on believing" as apposed to preservation/osas
26:10 eph 5:18 "go on being continually refilled with the Spirit"
27:10 Irish greeting "may you live all the days of your life"
    27:50 hits osas directly

I wish I could discuss a theory I have with David. I think there is a lot of evidence "John" was written by Lazarus. This is why it speaks of Jesus' ministry in Jerusalem as Lazarus lived right on the other side of the Mount of Olives.

25:02 the holy spirit is received at baptism of the believer. what is not automatically received is the miraculous gifts of the holy spirit. they receive it from the laying of the hands of the apostles. the other gifts have to be cultivated: love, joy etc. and these can be suppressed, too.

The truth is not something but it’s someone and you need to have personal knowledge of this person…that’s how David interpreted Johns gospel 👍

13:15 john was using the gk word ioudaioi/us which was a word of local origin, meaning those living in judea. this name was given by the babylonians to refer to the captives from judah they brought to babylon and it stuck. when it comes to locality, jesus was a galilean which his disciples were referred to just as those living in the region of judah were called judeans.

I am curious if anyone else might find this video again in the near future and be able to answer for me what he means that 5 of the 7 miracles in John are unique from the other gospels? I think he means that just the water into wine and lazarus being raised are repeats but what about the feeding of the 5000? Is that not a repeat too? I am a bit confused, I looked into it myself and it seems that the feeding of the 5000 and the walking on water are repeats as well so were his numbers off or? Am missing something?

We dont have the list David is referring to but I have found this reference which lists 37 miracles by Gospel ...I have not verified it is correct and you will need to checked it for yourself but it may assist you in identifying the Miracles

I've noticed Todd does know what he wants but it doesn't seem like he much cares as long as he's spending 1 on 1 time with you.and after you stop an activity he starts thinking about how to get your attention again right away... and after he gets cuddles he tells you how much he loves you. When he's just stareing at you it seems sometimes he's trying to figure out which button that is most likely to make you spend alot of floor time and lovely cuddles..his cat just loves you so much, and its so cute to watch his wheels turn ,while he watches you...♥️

12:16 amen. "jews" is a transmorph of the greek word "judean" meaning those who live in judea. and these are who john referred. just as peter and others where called "galileans" but just like jesus, their ancestors migrated from judea to the north. so jesus who came from the tribe of judah but grew and lived in nazareth before his public life was called a nazarene (fulfilling prophecy). john used the greek word "iuodaioi" as it meant during his time: from what place, not from what ancestry.

The translation is not "Judean." It is "The jews." The jews who followed Jesus are Called CHRISTIANS. They are not jews anymore. This conversion happened in the gospel of John.
"The Jews" is a political entity. Not every jew was involved in Christ's death but that doesn't mean that the political entity known as "the jews" doesn't exist. Jewish leaders have jewish followers which makes up the Jewish people.

18:10. It’s heresy to believe that Jesus had literal brothers and sisters. The Virgin Mary stayed a Virgin all her life.
