I had to get myself into Therapy because I realized how much that trauma affected my life and I wanted to heal. When the question of abuse is brought up you can see them withdraw. As a child and the abuse is happening you can't expect the child to tell anyone. They can't tell if the abuse is normal or abnormal. The mental manipulation from the abuser is crazy.
There were times that yes I felt he was asking inappropriate questions but when you take a deeper look at the root cause of why these people ended up where they are and why they don't have the hope and strength to get where they need to be then a lot of these questions are questions that they keep buried inside which is hindering them from growing.

What kind of mother in the 21st century withholds a high school education from their children ?!?!? It's hard to be prosperous today with a college degree let alone an 8th grade education.
