Kevin McKrell makes his song POP, but if you never heard Kevin do it, this song is still good & the Kingston Trio does it well, but, like Kevin, it does its own songs better than anyone else.
Definitely Limeliter harmonies. The sound of the Trio is completely different with the new members, but vocally, they're the best of all the trios. I'd be interested to see how good they are in person.
the reason the harmonies sound so limelighter is because the singer on the right, rick dougherty, sang with the limelighters for years before he left and joined the kingston trio.
im listening in December of 2020. I cannot wait until I can sing this again, hear my local pub bands sings this again.
Song written by Albany-area musician Kevin McKrell, I believe. Very nicely performed here.
a blast from my childhood of raiding my Dads records when he was at work!
@kmckrell All of the Hard Time Are Gone is a great song....Loved it...and the Kingston Trio does a great arrangement of it.
Kevin played this for us last night with Brian Melick and Doug Moody. Awesome!
Was good to see you Kevin.

Ah, a good beer on a Friday night. I'm looking forward to kicking back tonight at the lake.
all the hard days are gone....and if they come we`ll kick them away again
Bill Zorn was with them, too. Three great and complimentary voices here.
Great stuff. It sounds a little like Limeliters harmonies, probably influenced by the earlier roles played by Bill and Rick.
Goodonya Bob. Thanks
