Such an incredible band, Ive seen them 3 times and got the chance to open for them one of those times with a band I used to play in. Their live show is absolutely incredible and unique and they are seriously the nicest guys

I really hope this starts a reaction trend because Nothing More are so fucking underrated it’s insane. They are amazing live too. Best show I’ve ever been to. Just about every song is good but you’ll love “Ballist/ This is the Time”. The singer used to be the drummer so when he writes his lyrics he has the drum parts in mind. Sounds awesome.

Johnny is a ball of energy on stage. 100% recommend them live
Say them in Columbus Ohio in 2017 I think and Johnny was absolutely amazing one of my favorite shows I've ever been to
I've seen them live twice and the last time I was within about 10feet of the band. One of the absolute best bands (live or in the studio) I've seen in person, and I've seen quite a few.
I believe the full meaning of this song is, their mother was really sick and dying and his sister just kept using drugs instead of being there for their mom. So sad.
You gotta check out "Go To War" and "Don't Stop" by Nothing More as well!

One of the most grossly underrated bands!!! Some deep songs and they are unbelievably talented!! As many others have mentioned their song fade in fade out is amazing it is my favourite song ever written. As a father of 3 boys and being close to my dad myself it gets me emotional every time.

Nothing More is such an underrated band. Ive seen them 4 times live and met them twice. Amazing band and amazing people. The energy jonny creates while on stage is just *chefs kiss*
Song is about the mental health his sister had which lead to her abusing drugs and the line "she stuck around for you" is about him saying how their mother while dying from cancer stuck around as long as she could to try to help his sister. I had the pleasure and joy to see them live in Dallas,TX a portion of the $ for the tickets for the ENTIRE SHOW when to mental health programs and awareness.

I saw Nothing More live last year when they were touring with Ghost. They opened with Let Em Burn and Johnny was hanging off the pole, it was epic! Definitely a great way to open then show!

"Jenny" is about his sister. Their song "God Went North" is about the singer, Johnny Hawkins', mom. "Fade In/Fade Out" is about his dad.

This song hits deep for me because my older sister who I always looked up to became a drug addict which is why I spent my entire 20’s and currently raising my nieces so they have lived with me for most of their lives

There live show is insane. Great band.
Every song they play sends this sort of emotional vibe to me. Even if I haven't had personal experiences with what they're going through specifically, it kind of dredges up memories with similar structures but different focuses. And it doesn't interfere with the story that's being told through the music either. The story being told is told in such a clear and emotional way that you also feel like you're getting a sampler of what they went through. And the vocals, lyrics, all of it is that convincing because the members of the band go through a very thorough process when it comes to writing music, and they work hard to deliver the emotions that they feel through their music.
Live they strap Daniel’s base into a device they call the bassinator. They flip and spin it while the bassist, guitarist and singer play and drum on it. It’s really cool.

The singer wrote this song to hopefully tell his sister what their mother did for them. His sister was a drug addict and didn't see how much the mother sacrificed for
her/Jenny. After the mother died, he wrote the song to tell his sister that "She stuck around for you" and "I'll be with you through it all"

This song is about Jonny Hawkins black sheep sister Jenna. Who had a few mental issues and the mother never gave up on here even when she became a addict.. When her mom was dying of cancer she got into harder drugs and party scene. So her brother the singer tried to help her get clean.
