Hi Guys. Please could you answer me an ACSI related question for me. Spent the last 12 months pondering over buying my first Moho and after watching lots and lots of TH-cam videos from many quality channels such as yours took the plunge. Getting ready to explore France in 2025 and looking at the sites you visit realised how useful the ACSI card is for such adventures so purchased my card at the last NEC show and just had it delivered. My question is do these sites sometimes put you on an inferior pitch taking into account the price you pay using ACSI compared to their normal pitch fees? Also at what point on booking or when at reception do you present the card to obtain the preferential pitch rate? Love your content contains good mix of info around sites, area and interesting information and always look forward to watching your content. Keep smiling and being slightly grumpy it’s always great to see👍🙈
Hi there. Thanks for watching the channel. Lovely to hear you enjoy the content. In regards to the ACSI card, in general...no, you don't get an inferior pitch... You will be given a standard pitch with leccy. Being an acsi card pitch, it also has to be at least 80sq metres big....so sometimes you get a better pitch than the campsite standard. A lot of French campsites do have pitches at different prices, some of them huge ' premium' pitches with water, drainage, even their own separate toilet blocks etc, which are understandably not allocated to ACSI. We rarely book prior to arrival in the off season, there's generally no need to...we just pick an ACSI listed campsite, pitch up at reception, and just ask if there's an available pitch please....on acsi. You show them your card then. Some campsites will keep the card at reception, until you book out/ pay for your stay when you leave. Hope that helps!👍❤️
