I love how in the trailers the creepy humming is always heard. It brings the childhood fear to life imo, and the sound of children is sometimes creepy 💀
This is awesome and I like that it’s sets in the daytime roughly. Can’t wait to see unique monsters in this sequel. I hope one day that any animated studio can make a adult animated horror movie with the little nightmares animation style.
I mean there was a Netflix series planned around when the first game came out and I'm pretty sure Tim Burton was on board, but it never got off the ground which is a shame

But I'm usually pretty wary of adaptations to the big screen because, for us to connect with it, things that make the characters who they are can be totally botched (just look at M. Night Shamalan with Avatar the Last Airbender (sorry if you're a fan its just my opinion))

When the world needed then most they returned and so far still looks absolutely gorgeous. Even if Six and Mono are sadly out of the picture, that still doesn’t mean that these new characters and monsters will still give us an experience that is the definition of Nightmares.

It’s cool how each game has an entirely different atmosphere. So far my favorite is the first game and the Japanese ship theme but I’m exited to see where this new direction goes.
My personal Favorite was 2 because the idea of a city falling apart as it's twisted, malformed, and stretched to supernatural extremes because of an Eldritch tower in the middle is such a unique concept of a setting that no other game has ever done.
I have to say that I was worried about Little Nightmares ever since Tarsier Studios left the franchise but seeing how Supermassive Games is handling the series now I think it’s in very good hands. Thank you Bandai for keeping our Nightmares alive and well!

My heart is broken by the fact that Mono and Six's story just wasn't meant to have a good ending and that we are not going into the direction of something that connects with their story... but when i saw the massive and dark landfill / junkyard with the two new kids holding hands before seeing the title of the game i thought: "TAKE. What makes you think we won't see them again? Mono is the TV Man now, and Six is stuck in a never ending loop of killing the Lady and taking her place. Besides, Six's special power was going through mirrors, which this sequel appears to have a LOT of. Could be that LN3 will tie up Six's story as the antagonist she's become, and then LN4 could tie up Mono's story as an antagonist as well.
I'll miss Mono and Six those two will always have a special place in my heart. But I'm super excited for this, and those two are adorable, hopefully nothing bad happens to them.....

The imagery shown here gives me hope that LN3 will properly build on the lore Tarsier was working with in their games. The sand and wind stuff has been seen before in the comic and is a totally different entity to what was on the maw or in the pale city. This is the most exciting gamescom announcement for me
@@asant90 How no? very little nightmares the confirmed prequel has the rain coat be lost at sea, little nightmares 2 is where six gets the raincoat, on a coastal city and it ends with a card about the maw and her presumably in an appartment. Next we see her in the comics she is in another city with the raincoat already on.
@@asant90 Little Nightmares 2 is a prequel. If you collect all the shadows you get a scene at the end where Six's shadow looks at a pamphlet for the maw and six's stomach growls, showing that this games events take place before the first game.
I love the eerie music and the small tribute to mono having the ability to move through TVs being used as mirrors. Truly makes me appreciate the detail and everything in every single LN game.
Here's hoping we see him again. If we do maybe it will be before his Cycle began in the Pale City or after if he finally found a way out even if was at the cost of his age and he's still living as the Thin Man

Why does everyone keep forget about the mobile game- very little nightmares. I mean, yes, it's not as creepy as the others but it's still good and have amazing puzzles

I love how different the atmosphere looks for this game compared to the others. Its really gonna give it a unique identity among the other games in the series.
I've been waiting for this for so many years, but now that I know for sure that part 3 will still come out... I have no words, perhaps I missed him so much all this time ... And waiting a year is not a problem at all.
I think its even better than having the game already, since imo the joy you feel before getting the actual game is very important Just remember the good old days when you bought a game in a store as a kid and couldnt wait to get home and play it

What IF these 2 characters are the KEYS to break out the nightmarish loop of Mono And Six to avoid their future transformation as becoming The Thin Man And The Lady, That would be something else, and cool , considering the fact that we can now break their endless nightmare with these childrens on Little Nightmares 3...
First, The Maw, an underwater facility, then The Pale City, a rotten and deformed city, now we're gonna have a dessert-like village or a factory. I enjoyed both games and can't wait for this one, and it seems mirrors have something special like in the second game with the tvs, since they teleported through a mirror (just like with the tvs) and bro, the giant baby looks creepy as hell. Edit : There something really curious, the crow masked boy is called “Alone” and the word “Mono” is also referred to “Monophobia” aka fear of being alone, and since they both can teleport trough TVs or mirrors, maybe these characters are linked in any way?
Gives me the vibes of NieR: Automata desert locations! Definitely the Lady's Mirror theme is important in regards of the series! Hyped and excited for this! I'm going to be taking a vacation when this game is announced haha!

The first game in the series, chronologically, is actually Very Little Nightmares (a mobile game, but still very cool). We play as the Girl with the Yellow Raincoat, who's not Six. She meets Six at the end of that game (which is set in a school for flesh-and-blood girls, and seems like the place where the future leaders of this world are prepped). And without spoilers, we learn how the yellow raincoat ends up where Six finds it in Little Nightmares 2. So that's an even more emotionally charged moment than one might think.
I'm little afraid, because I've not idea if the third game are going to supress the previous ones, but I'm hoping for it. if the soundtrack be as good as it was in Little nightmares 2, i'm really fine with It!
@@MrLoverman7134, how the original storyline that Tarsier Studios came up with rather than SMG straying off and doing other things that wasn't intended. I think that SMG will continue on the original storyline but have their differences in art and so forth.

Little nightmares 2 was nothing short of a masterpiece. The only minor thing it lacked was an offline co-op feature. We are finally getting it now for part 3!! Edit: The lady said, online co-op. Now I am worried. How can it not have an offline co-op when it already has online? Doesn't make sense.
Online co-op huh? Not something Supermassive isn’t a stranger to and I have played both House of Ashes and Devil In Me with a friend. Local co-op I would definitely prefer though, and after seeing how buggy the Steam version of Devil In Me is still (I experienced an infinite load glitch at one point) and how Little Nightmares II certainly wouldn’t of worked with co-op at all in the first place (final “boss fight” comes to mind), I am both curious and also a little worried how this third entry will turn out.
Sure hope there's local co-op as well, I remember the fiasco that was Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles when they ported that over to Switch after removing local for strictly online co-op. Quite honestly happy LM2 didn't have coop since the story really called for some alone parts with Mono. Really excited to see how they pull it off though!

LN1 and LN2 share a humongous connection, with the second being basically the prequel to the other, so the question is, will this be a sequel or a prequel? Or possibly, set in a whole new timeline that somehow wraps around the timeline we know and maybe merge with it?

I am also SO EXCITED :DD I thought they had finished with the series so i was not expecting this at all!

You can definitely tell this isn't made by the same people, but not necessarily in a bad way. It looks absolutely great! A bit worried it's releasing in 2024 since that's less development time than the rest, but based on what we've seen, I'm still confident it's going to be a fun time. Also sidenote, I love these new character designs! Even more than Six and Mono.
@@GoulGames Even if it started _right_ after LN2, it would be about 3 years, which _does_ roughly match up with the dev time of the other 2, if mayyyyyybe _slightly_ less... but I kinda doubt it started production right after, considering they had to find a new studio to develop the game.
This looks amazing! Ive loved this franchise since 2017 and im super excited for this! I also think why the kids are wearing weird stuff like a mask and (I think that's a hazmat suit?) Is because they're just finding stuff wherever and just taking it so the won't be cold like six took the raincoat even though it left her legs exposed, since it was better than the dirty suit she was wearing.

@@amit.k.8939 Tasier Studios, the devs behind LN1 and 2, said they are done with this IP. Bandai Namco hired Supermassive Games, devs behind Until Dawn and Quarry, to do the third game.

Love the return of Little Nightmares. Supermassive Games have definitely captured the art style and atmosphere it's predecessors. I'm excited to see how this game will build upon the franchise and lore that Tarsia began. I will admit I'm a little sad to see Mono and Six go, but the new comers Low and Alone look worthy to fill their places in this universe. The only thing I am concerned about is the implementation of co-op as I am afraid that it may disturb the immersion of the first games. But then again I am sure that Supermassive and Bandai are more than capable of including this mechanic. Love how the story is going so far. Keep it up.
Really excited for LN3, and just finished the first podcast episode. Hopefully no one will be betrayed in this game, and maybe we can see a glimpse of what happened to Six after she escaped the Maw(if this is actually a sequel). I also like the new atmosphere of the game. Here’s a fun fact: after LN2 came out I thought of what the next game could look like, and the first idea that came to mind was a carnival, and looks like we are getting a carnival. That’s quite the coincidence. Anyway, if anyone from Bandai Namco is reading this, I would like to make a personal request to ask you guys if you could maybe give a shot at a Little Nightmares VR. I think that would be both awesome and terrifying for everyone. It wouldn’t have to be a whole new game, maybe just a port for the first one. But anyway that’s it really excited and make sure to take your time, we will all wait patiently.

I dont think that really has much to do with it. They wanted to change the aesthetic to keep it fresh, so it has a different look but still feels like little nightmares
I'm personally really excited for this. I know the two games sort of have an "ending" with the time loop and what not, but I still like seeing this new aesthetic. The first game was in the ocean and now this one in a desert... Partly anyway. From certain shots it reminds me of the Maw or the pale city, depending on how you look at it. We also have the eye freezing people and eye imagery on blocks and crayons... So, who knows. I'll say this though. If I see a glitching TV while playing and The Thin Man start chasing me, I will lose it.

I only got into Little Nightmares around about July 2023 and ever since I have been obsessed. This story is incredibly well written, it's a story which you ever find once. I've played The first, second game and the dlc, (I'm also looking forward to possibly getting very little nightmares) listened to the whole of The sounds of nightmares, Read/watched all the Digital comics and seen some panels of the older comics and am so excited for this game and the books to come out soon, and hopefully it gets much more recognition this time around!

@@asant90 How no? very little nightmares the confirmed prequel has the rain coat be lost at sea, little nightmares 2 is where six gets the raincoat, on a coastal city and it ends with a card about the maw and her presumably in an appartment. Next we see her in the comics she is in another city with the raincoat already on.

@@asant90 Little Nightmares 2 is a prequel. If you collect all the shadows you get a scene at the end where Six's shadow looks at a pamphlet for the maw and six's stomach growls, showing that this games events take place before the first game.
I love the eerie music and the small tribute to mono having the ability to move through TVs being used as mirrors.
Truly makes me appreciate the detail and everything in every single LN game.
Here's hoping we see him again. If we do maybe it will be before his Cycle began in the Pale City or after if he finally found a way out even if was at the cost of his age and he's still living as the Thin Man

It is still there in the carnival yeah that exists. See that shot with all the guests they are visiting a carnival probably to see a magician or clown.

I love how different the atmosphere looks for this game compared to the others. Its really gonna give it a unique identity among the other games in the series.

despite six and mono now being out of the picture, the little reference to six’s music box and the end is heartwarming and almost bittersweet
First, The Maw, an underwater facility, then The Pale City, a rotten and deformed city, now we're gonna have a dessert-like village or a factory. I enjoyed both games and can't wait for this one, and it seems mirrors have something special like in the second game with the tvs, since they teleported through a mirror (just like with the tvs) and bro, the giant baby looks creepy as hell.
Edit : There something really curious, the crow masked boy is called “Alone” and the word “Mono” is also referred to “Monophobia” aka fear of being alone, and since they both can teleport trough TVs or mirrors, maybe these characters are linked in any way?
Gives me the vibes of NieR: Automata desert locations!

The first game in the series, chronologically, is actually Very Little Nightmares (a mobile game, but still very cool). We play as the Girl with the Yellow Raincoat, who's not Six. She meets Six at the end of that game (which is set in a school for flesh-and-blood girls, and seems like the place where the future leaders of this world are prepped). And without spoilers, we learn how the yellow raincoat ends up where Six finds it in Little Nightmares 2. So that's an even more emotionally charged moment than one might think.

I think that SMG will continue on the original storyline but have their differences in art and so forth.

Little nightmares 2 was nothing short of a masterpiece. The only minor thing it lacked was an offline co-op feature. We are finally getting it now for part 3!!
Edit: The lady said, online co-op. Now I am worried. How can it not have an offline co-op when it already has online? Doesn't make sense.

Online co-op huh? Not something Supermassive isn’t a stranger to and I have played both House of Ashes and Devil In Me with a friend. Local co-op I would definitely prefer though, and after seeing how buggy the Steam version of Devil In Me is still (I experienced an infinite load glitch at one point) and how Little Nightmares II certainly wouldn’t of worked with co-op at all in the first place (final “boss fight” comes to mind), I am both curious and also a little worried how this third entry will turn out.
Sure hope there's local co-op as well, I remember the fiasco that was Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles when they ported that over to Switch after removing local for strictly online co-op. Quite honestly happy LM2 didn't have coop since the story really called for some alone parts with Mono. Really excited to see how they pull it off though!

LN1 and LN2 share a humongous connection, with the second being basically the prequel to the other, so the question is, will this be a sequel or a prequel?
Or possibly, set in a whole new timeline that somehow wraps around the timeline we know and maybe merge with it?

I mean, technically they didn't, the original studio (Tarsier Studios) stated they weren't gonna continue,as seen by the intro here, they kept their word. Lets just hope Supermassive can live up to it. They've got some big shoes to fill.

You can definitely tell this isn't made by the same people, but not necessarily in a bad way. It looks absolutely great! A bit worried it's releasing in 2024 since that's less development time than the rest, but based on what we've seen, I'm still confident it's going to be a fun time. Also sidenote, I love these new character designs! Even more than Six and Mono.

@@GoulGames Even if it started _right_ after LN2, it would be about 3 years, which _does_ roughly match up with the dev time of the other 2, if mayyyyyybe _slightly_ less... but I kinda doubt it started production right after, considering they had to find a new studio to develop the game.

This looks amazing! Ive loved this franchise since 2017 and im super excited for this! I also think why the kids are wearing weird stuff like a mask and (I think that's a hazmat suit?) Is because they're just finding stuff wherever and just taking it so the won't be cold like six took the raincoat even though it left her legs exposed, since it was better than the dirty suit she was wearing.
The story is only gonna get more complicated but I’m all here for it

@@amit.k.8939 Tasier Studios, the devs behind LN1 and 2, said they are done with this IP. Bandai Namco hired Supermassive Games, devs behind Until Dawn and Quarry, to do the third game.

Love the return of Little Nightmares. Supermassive Games have definitely captured the art style and atmosphere it's predecessors. I'm excited to see how this game will build upon the franchise and lore that Tarsia began. I will admit I'm a little sad to see Mono and Six go, but the new comers Low and Alone look worthy to fill their places in this universe. The only thing I am concerned about is the implementation of co-op as I am afraid that it may disturb the immersion of the first games. But then again I am sure that Supermassive and Bandai are more than capable of including this mechanic. Love how the story is going so far. Keep it up.

Really excited for LN3, and just finished the first podcast episode. Hopefully no one will be betrayed in this game, and maybe we can see a glimpse of what happened to Six after she escaped the Maw(if this is actually a sequel). I also like the new atmosphere of the game. Here’s a fun fact: after LN2 came out I thought of what the next game could look like, and the first idea that came to mind was a carnival, and looks like we are getting a carnival. That’s quite the coincidence. Anyway, if anyone from Bandai Namco is reading this, I would like to make a personal request to ask you guys if you could maybe give a shot at a Little Nightmares VR. I think that would be both awesome and terrifying for everyone. It wouldn’t have to be a whole new game, maybe just a port for the first one. But anyway that’s it really excited and make sure to take your time, we will all wait patiently.

Little Nightmares is back!
I'm personally really excited for this. I know the two games sort of have an "ending" with the time loop and what not, but I still like seeing this new aesthetic. The first game was in the ocean and now this one in a desert... Partly anyway. From certain shots it reminds me of the Maw or the pale city, depending on how you look at it. We also have the eye freezing people and eye imagery on blocks and crayons... So, who knows. I'll say this though. If I see a glitching TV while playing and The Thin Man start chasing me, I will lose it.
There's no timeloop, the second game end, the first one begin and last we saw, Six was leaving the Maw with the Lady's power.

I only got into Little Nightmares around about July 2023 and ever since I have been obsessed. This story is incredibly well written, it's a story which you ever find once. I've played The first, second game and the dlc, (I'm also looking forward to possibly getting very little nightmares) listened to the whole of The sounds of nightmares, Read/watched all the Digital comics and seen some panels of the older comics and am so excited for this game and the books to come out soon, and hopefully it gets much more recognition this time around!
All of this is truly epic, I can't wait to play it!🤩

Little nightmares 3 is a continuation of Little nightmares 4 in the future. If you see the beginning of demo you'll understand what I meant. LN 1,2 are a story and LN 3,4 are a new story.
