🧠I believe it is essential to be mindful of the more introverted and logical people in a group when we lead "icebreakers" that would otherwise induce eye rolls. If you want great, easy-to-implement ideas, here is a ton of FREE, printable resources I created for ya: weand.me/tools/

Chad that has been my favourite of all your connection before content exercises. it has so many uses both serious and fun. I tried it out immediately in the office just now, and the Friday afternoon energy and noise went up 10 x fold. Brilliant thanks. My only view on the pre-prepared questions is that it 'may' restrict people's own creativity which I see as part of the brain warm up and intel for me to see how their brain works. Thanks for making my Friday mate.

YES! YES! YES! Card decks covering the various themes would be wonderful! Some participants gain more comfort and react better in group situations having that tangible piece in their hands to get them talking.

I love this! Thanks Chad. There is so much value in watching you work "live" with a group and then dissecting it. Thanks also to the group you were working with giving permission to share this with the world! And cards - yes please! Fantastic idea...

@@chad.littlefield I had a thought the other day about the cards too. Maybe with groups who have been together for a while you could turn it around and start with the "then ..." comment and the other person has to come up with the "if ..." - it has the potential to be really funny (or maybe I just have a warped sense of humour)???

The proposed deck of cards would be terrific! It's difficult to get left-brained and/or shy types to feel comfortable sharing early in a gathering. I think drawing out this type of personality is especially challenging for right-brained facilitators. IF/THEN Statements are so spot on for me as I work with software developers! Right-brained participants easily understand the exercise and can immediately participate in the icebreaker. That makes this a great way to bridge both types of thinkers which will really help get people engaged and connected. As with your "We! Connect Cards" there could be colors to indicate a range of IF statements from frivolous to serious so the facilitator can more quickly turn the connection towards the content.

Noted! The main/first video of my Connection Before Content Masterclass provides tons of useful data/science around CBC to help increase buy-in for logically minded folks. HOWEVER...the most powerful single tool I can share quickly is a "...so that..." intention. More on that here: th-cam.com/video/KK9KU97bPcg/w-d-xo.html
