But what's *so* special about that 2005 Royal Rumble chair is that was the event with one of the most notorious botches in WWE pay-per-view history. The final 2 wrestlers in the Royal Rumble (Batista and John Cena) both fell out of the ring on accident and the stipulation to that whole match is last man in the ring wins. It was a legit mistake, I think Batista was supposed to win if memory serves? But both fell out on a fucked up grapple and everyone panicked. Vince McMahon comes storming out, fucking fuming for real because the match is shot, goes to slide into the ring and smashes his legs on the mat during his entrance and blows out both quads. So he's sitting there like an idiot while refs and wrestlers are all arguing about the whole thing. It's truly something to behold, even if you aren't a fan of wrestling knowing it was all improvised on the fly and live no less.
