ヨコタススムの作品にハズレ無し
Having this on vinyl is pure joy
clever use of the apple logo in the artwork
Am I missing something
@@muffer435 yes!
@@teodormihai9810 ahh I see it now haha
909のハットとベードラ、クラップ、リムショット、定番なんですが使い方がとっても良いです。
何度聴いても古く感じないです。
いい曲の基本ですねー。
this is inspiring me to lead an active lifestyle
best comment ever ;)
how's it going??
Do it!
update?
bro this is too true
Been going thru some of Susumu Yokota's early stuff as of late, and this guy can't miss can he?
Acid Mt Fuji is super overrated, so yeah, he can
That's easily one of his best House albums imo, along with Fruits of the Room, Zero, Over Head, Baroque and 1998 (his best one in my opinion).
metronome melody
Cat mouse and me, 1999, Will, Fallen Angel, Sound of Sky.... Over Head is by far his worst house album and Zero isn't far behind
This guy just destroys with everything that he does! Cannot believe how unknown he is!!!
Sound8Vision you're so right it is amazing the level quality in all of his releases
Sound8Vision at this point for about 10 years and I'm still discovering great stuff my, both heartfelt and amazingly unique and fresh... my current fav is the Symbol album ...
Symbol album by Yokota or someone else? I will have the check it out it must be good if you are into this stuff. I agree with you though it is amazing the sheer amount of music that there is to discover and explore. It seems infinite to a point. Thankfully.
well ,he's not that unknown :D but yes ,I agree that he deserves much more attention !
i had the "ebi - zen" album in the 90s and couldn´t stop listening to it - i got it on cassette from a friend and had no clou who he was, i always thought it was music from berlin - later i learned that really many people here in germany had this zen album and loved it...
now i searched for it here on youtube and by and by discover the incredible amount of way cool and beautiful music yokota has released - next step: the "symbol" album, i´ll check it...
another great musician i found during this search is "rei harakami", and from england "rival consoles - odyssey" -
among my german faves are "jan jelinek - loop finding jazz records", "christian löffler" and "alva noto"...
(my special recommendation is "christian löffler live a fontain de vaucluse for cercle")
ah, there is so so much to discover - youtube is my musical tardis, haha.... :-)
hey sorry, got to leave you now, keyaki just starts - HIT!
cheers from germany
what a beautiful album. still sad he has died because of health problems. one of my favorite artists of all time. RIP
love this dude's music!
Didn't even need to finish 'Renkon' before putting that back to start! Been enjoying so many of Susumu LP'S through you tube! Under his many alias. No body gets close to this discography today., there is similarities out there but not on this level. To keep this level of quality throughout each record / release is outstanding!
That is one of his top 3 songs of all time
Don't want to sound cringe but this guy is the JSBach of Electronica.
pretty darn cringe my dude
is this a positive or a negative, or neither?
goddamnit its so energetic!
wow the last track is a trip
Ringo, Stevia, Prism, Ebi... how many aliases did this guy have?! :D
(Btw love this so much thx for getting ahold of and posting it!!)
Incredible record!
