Even with fairly static, single piece poses, they're all quite impressive. I'm sure they'll look even better when I get around to painting them. Doesn't help that their in- house painter did an impressive job to begin with!
@@ObscuritiesinMiniature they always hire the best they can possibly get which is why I never look at what they do until after I'm done I didn't I don't get so disappointed as quickly or as often.
Those are some Awesome looking magic users! I guess I need to learn how to paint cloth now... Do you have to take any special precautions when cleaning up resin models? I've heard it's toxic.
Well just about everything is toxic, depending on what you do with it! Main thing with resin is to wear some proper protection if you're doing some serious drilling and cutting- all those dust particles and stuff are NOT good for you. That said, for models like this with so little necessary cleanup, keeping your fingers separate so they don't end up glued together from a few drops of super glue like mine did is probably all you need to worry about it.
thats a nice little package with great minis and gorgeous rule book. I was at a convention a few weeks back and a store had these starters, I didn't know what it was, but now I'm interested. How big of a table do you need to play?
Plays on a 2 x 2 foot area, which is great as it fits on pretty much any table. Worth picking up one of their nice themed neoprene mats to play the game. Game is awesome btw one of best skirmish games out there.
They've been gearing up for the next major wave of releases in fact! It has a smaller and quite dedicated fan group from what I've seen. Definitely a more niche game, but that seems the case for just about everything out side of the grim darkness of the far future.
This company is worse than GW with their prices!!!!! Didn't think that was possible! Why are people so unaware of value for money these days, will pay anything for shit! Really boring poses! And what clans these from!!!!????
I'd argue it's a bit apples and oranges- mass produced plastic versus small batches of cast resin. One is for a widely available game, the other a much more niche genre. One expects you to continually pick up new models to increase the size of the game, the other you could add maybe a figure or two and you're good. From what I remember, these models can all be split amongst the various factions, or united in their families (the group they come with in the starter). Could the poses have been more dynamic? Sure. The prices? Well, I know I wouldn't be paying what GW asks for a box of plastics that I'd need multiples of in order to actually play a proper game of 40k, which sometimes isn't even all that far off from the cost of this starter set. Plus this starter is still going to be a lot cheaper than a GW starter, and the quality of the figures may hold more value for gamers looking outside the GW ecosystem, or from a painting perspective. Apples and oranges!
As someone just getting in, it's also worth noting the game is balanced around 5-6 models instead of 50-100. This box literally could be a full sized game for 2 players
Man, that resin is gorgeous
Absolutely stunning miniatures....colour me impressed.
Dam, that detail on the new resin once are so crisp
No kidding. I mean, I look at a lot of resin figures but the detail they got out of these models really took it to another level!
@@ObscuritiesinMiniature yeh those faces are just insane, i going to have to pick up some just to paint, since i dont play Bushido
They look amazing!
Nize figures!! Thanks for the look..
Them bois crispier than a twenty day old stale potato chip 👀
Those are begging for contrast-type paints, just to keep all of that detail.
Those faces. Wow!
After seeing those two magic users this went way up on my purchasing list, but those archers sold it.

Is this game still alive? They only update their website like 3 or 4 times a year. I have not heard anything from them in a while.
