I love your reviews, you take your time to let us know what fits into a case and what doesn't by highlighting the dimensions, that's just great, keep it up
@@Zombie101 That would be great for both the market and you it sound like :p. I've simply stopped caring, too old to care what the pc looks like. When I build a system now I challange myself to get the best performance possible while spending as little as possible on a case. Currently running a heavily overclocked 8700k and rtx2080 in a €40 bitfenix neos with some off the airflow-obstructions cut out.
Great case review.I realy like the fat that the Fractal Pop series of cases has 5.25-inch drive bays that are hidden behind a door/cover. My next system build will either be in the Fractal Define R6 replacement or the Pop mid-tower, as I require a 5.25-inch drive bay for my Blu-ray burner.
Thank you for covering this SKU, everyone else covered the ATX version. Do you know the MSRP and if this one will have the "RGB" variants like the ATX version? Would love this with colored accents but are specifically looking for a minitower.
i have the normal fractal Pop Air and i love it, it was a great choice for my first self-built system. i had no problems with assembling my computer even though i have never done it before
Thinking of getting this case but my current PSU is 160mm rather than the listed 150mm... I've heard you can fit larger power supplies in if you don't use the 3.5" bays, do you think this would work? My current PSU is a CX750M from early 2016, so maybe it's worth replacing, though it seems a shame to get rid of it for the sake of 10mm.
@@ElevatedSystems I noticed that, I thought I was going crazy, but I think the newer models are shorter 😅 Just measured mine and it's definitely longer than 150mm.
@@ElevatedSystems You have no idea how happy I am to hear that 😂 Thanks for the response, and thanks for the great review! Can't wait to build in this case :)
Another great video! I was glad to see the Micro ATX case as everyone else is covering the ATX. I have 2 mATX systems at the moment, one in a Meshify C Mini another in a Morovel? (budget Amazon case). I really like this as a contender to replace the cheap one. With 3 Fractal cases in active use I really appreciate the details and quality as you covered in your review.
That front storage thing is perfect for a Alphacool Eisfach - Single Laing D5 incl. Alphacool Eispumpe VPP755 - Dual 5,25 Bay Station Reservoir (13304)
I assume this hidden drawer is also present on the other sizes from the Pop series ? Because I'm very much intressed now, but I don't want to have to change my Mobo just yet
Really like how simple, well-made and high airflow is this case, it's like a budget torrent compact. I also like this simple rectangular design of cases, it's more minimalistic and sleek. Not a big fan of excessive, complicated cases full of front glass that has trash airflow. Does it come with mITX size, like Torrent Nano?
@@ElevatedSystems I guess Pop Nano wouldn't have worked while keeping all features. Fractal Design Torrent Nano has ATX PSU but barely has space for 2 fans in front, while having a PSU shroud that doesn't go till the front side.
Contrary to popular belief, some people are still excited for the 5.25" drive bay. I am too even if I doubt I'll be using disc burners as much as before.
Long pressing the IO RGB button provides a secondary set of color and pattern options. Once you get to the slow cycle patern pres the button again when it gets to the color you want and it will freeze on that color.
I don't understand builds of Intel cpu and a radeon graphics card, with the newer generation of cards coming out. Why would you not want full vram access with S.A.M?
In my way, it was this square box style that won me over when I bought a computer case from this company. I hate that most have designs that look like kindergarteners. Colorful, glowing like a disco, looking like Lego. For God's sake, it's a computer case, not a room decoration.
*Builds in the all black version of a case that comes in multiple colours* "It DoEsN't PoP lIkE tHe NaMe ImPlIeS!" *Proceeds to not elaborate on said other colours* Pretty decent video otherwise. Quite informative, mostly entertaining, and you actually built a PC that is reasonable for the case. While I get the point of putting a 3090Ti and a 5990x in a case to push its limits, it's kinda pointless if you don't appeal to people who might actually buy at this price point. If the case performs well they might go, "wow, this can probably handle a 5600 and a 6650xt then!" But if you do that to a case that can't handle that heat, then it pushes away a potential buyer who might have been just fine with the parts that they intended to build only to have them spend more on a unnecessarily better case that's 20 or 30 dollars more. Money that could have gone into stuff that really matters, like food, or rent, or RGB.
@@ElevatedSystems shoot, I didn't know that, my bad. For some reason I was under the impression that it came I the same colours as the regular pop. That being said, if the colours aren't important, it's actually a really good case for the price point, provided that you intended to build in the mATX form factor in the first place.
Got the white one coming this Sunday. Love these smaller cases. Although I'm going a bit more powerful than this 😂. (3080 and 5600x) I'm loving the fact it still has the 5.25 bay. I'm probably adding a region free Blu ray drive in mine
I love how cool this looks with the Optical Drive. Really takes this up a notch for that PC cred.
I love your reviews, you take your time to let us know what fits into a case and what doesn't by highlighting the dimensions, that's just great, keep it up
I think this is gonna start becoming the new "Budget Case" VERY quickly. Add in the Optical drive, she's a clever thing. Good Job Fractal.
A €115,- case in not a budget case in my opinion. Something like the €40,- bitfenix neos would be a budget substitute for this.
@@Tom-sd2vi yeah you'd have to be mad to buy this.
@@Zombie101 I would not say mad, just willing to spend a lot on an average case lol.
@@Tom-sd2vi lol, yeah that too. For me, it's just such a dated design. Wish these companies would consult me, I've got such good ideas!

yup and unfortunately he has the all black one

The MSRP should be $89.99 and no the mini only comes in black or white as far as the info I have.
At 2:00 youre talking about offset brackets. Are those in the package? If not, which SKU-number and where to order? Got review though!
They are included with the case.
I’m using the bay for an ekwb 5 1/4 Dbay Reservoir. I love this!!!!

Is it possible to install a longer PSU by removing the trays?
Yup

Are the fans rgb addressable or only certain colors?
fans are standard 3-Pin 5v ARGB and can be controlled with any ARGB hardware or software.
When is it available?
It's available now. Links in the description.
What is max length of graphics card when installing AIO in the front exactly ?
Depends on the AIO. Just subtract the thickness of your AIO with fans from the max GPU length for the answer.
