A few years ago, there was flooding along the river south (hour or three) of chiang mai. The military had setup huge tents for the displaced residents. This latest flooding makes me wonder if those residents were flooded again or they had relocated elsewhere.
Every house in our Moo Bahn including us got flooded, the Tessabahn could've prevented it with about 50 sandbags placed on a vacant lot. Word is we are supposed to get 9 thousand baht flood relief, we aren't holding our breath. Robinson Airport was allowing anyone to park in their garage for free so we did that...
Its a good thing you parked up there or your car would have got it . 9000 isnt going to help much either .. Never seen anything like this hope I never see it again ...
Some of us are escaping our criminal countries and some criminals are escaping to Thailand.
So true !
Nice walk Bill. Please update us months later on that path along the canal. It would be a shame if they give up on that area.
I will , the first time I walked a few years ago it was well kept ! What I saw on this walk was months of being un kept , not just flood damage .
@@UTCM Thanks!
Utterly heartbreaking what’s happened the Chang Mai over these last few weeks. My heart goes out to all its residents ❤
Yes pretty sad to see . But recovery will happen
It was the same in Chiang Rai. Both the city and further north. Mae Sai had the worst flooding of the lot.
@@1990-t1j very sad
You cannot commit a serious crime, or even a minor one, in Thailand and get away with it.
Glad you're looking so well, Bill. Nick
Thats true but many try !! Eyes everywhere here which I fully support
You really are looking good Bill
Thank you

They disappear because the families tend to comeuppance with a number of compensation to make it go away.
