    Do you have any tips for learning how to jump? If you are in the process of learning to get off the ground, what are you struggling with?

    I created a black hole when I tried to bunny hop my 70+ pound e-bike. What do I do now?

    Bunny Hop so high on an e-bike!!! You’re the Boss!
    Does the relatively short chainstay on Canyon Torque help with this?

      No kidding! I look more like Van Girl Yuka on her first attempts.

    • @embn

      Shorter chainstays will help with bunny hops, if you want to experiment with your bike setup you can run a slightly shorter stem or raise the bars slightly for a more playful cockpit.

    Learn a bunny hop first. Ok I'll come back in a year again for jumps...

      bunny hop is 1-2 days to learn

    • @tomw0815
      @tomw0815 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@6996Gunslinger I think there are people out there who can learn this in 1-2 days. I started mountainbiking this year and calculated the time to learn a bunny hop from the time I needed to get the front wheel from the ground a bit (I will still need many weeks to call that a manual).

    @Neil, it looks like you pump before you hit the ramp @ 6:54 Is that intentional, or should the pump start when the front tire gets to the ramp?

    • @Booga76
      @Booga76 ปีที่แล้ว

      .i'm not so experienced in jumping an ebike but I had the same thought...maybe it's intentional, to achieve that side jumping style ?

    • @davidridger1276
      @davidridger1276 ปีที่แล้ว

      Short up ramp , so you would preload on the flat , the slow mo probably gives the impression , it’s way earlier than it actually is .

      Neil is just demonstrating how you can use a mini kicker to help learn to jump. You can draw comparisons from this to any brand you like 👍

    I'm more and more convinced that ebikes are a total con, the up pricing on parts is astronomical, absolute rip off for most emtb's

      Except it’s fun and you can ride twice as much. For that reason it can also help you improve a lot faster from hitting so many more trails
