One different thing about Hinduism among all major faiths is that there is a place for Atheism in it via one of the Panths( Philosophical Beliefs) which is less popular & less followed but it is there.. Atheists are not declared as apostates or blasphemous to be stoned to death or burned on pyres in Hinduism..

Its so magnificent temple. My family all mixed budism, catholic, Taoism, baptism, and we feel so great to learned from other religions practice. Its good for our brain, mind, and our soul. Angkor wat in Cambodia is largest Hindu temple outside of India (Bharat). But Angkor wat is now more like a historical place rather than functional temple for worshipping and meditation.

Hinduism was never about building temple. Material possession was detested. There are personal goals (Agam) and social or familial goals(puram) devised. Accumulation of any form of wealth was just accumulation of power and control over a social group.
