Wanted to have on hand (as bear deterrent) when using any of my 410s for grouse hunting here in Ontario. Will do the job best at 20 yards i think. I have used 12 gauge rubber shot and slugs for black bears at work years ago and they are very effective to shoo them away. Just subcribed btw and will also to your new channel. Definitely fun:)

No way in hell would I use rubber projectiles for anything .. bears , humans or zombies no way. If I’m shooting any of those things it’s because I want them to die immediately.
I don't know about this. It is obviously going to leave a nasty wound. But on an animal, at those seven yards the critter is going to die a rather inhumane death. If something is charging and needs to be stopped in its tracks, either man or beast, I think it best to fall back on the real deal, 9 to 12 pellets of 00 buck. But of course, YMMV.
It looks lethal on watermelons😞 I think that could possibly injure any thing at those close ranges. If you're going for injury then I'd stick with the regular 00 Buck. Fun to watch those evil watermelons get what they deserved though😁
Rubber buckshot is a great non-lethal, so they say, means of home self defense. I’m sorry you can’t use that for home self defense in Canada. Kinda leaves one rather vulnerable. How does one protect themselves if you get a home invader? Surely you must be allowed to protect yourself and your family. I’m glad that here in the US you can. So many lives of innocent people have been saved because they are allowed to use deadly force if you and your family members are at risk. I’d be interested to know what one’s choices are. Thanks. It is weird here, you can't go into a gun store and buy a gun solely for self defense per se but you can use deadly force to defend yourself if you're facing a potentially deadly attack. Like you can carry pepper spray to defend yourself from bears but not humans BUT if you actually were attacked by a human you could use it to defend yourself.
@@westcoaster7.62very confusing. What does one do if someone breaks into your home? Ask the guy to hold on while I refer to the guidebook for homeowners being attacked. I read up on countries with strict gun control, and the cases for gun violence per capita is higher, believe it or not, than countries such as the US. You hear of a lot of gun violence in the US because there is a much greater population. Believe it or not, but the stats on that verify it. I would feel much safer in my home knowing I have the right to use deadly force against someone intent on harming me and my family. For that, I am grateful.
If your country's laws allow it just have shot. Or for that matter, I don't know why anyone would register a firearm anyway. Not only is it none of the government's darn business what I have, I don't want them to think there's anything to come confiscate when they try pulling that, which they would before long.
Virtually every country in Europe requires firearms to be registered since the end of WWII. Can you name one European country since then that has gone door to door confiscating firearms? Maybe there are some I am not aware of.. honest question , not being confrontational

I have it in 12 gauge for bears.
I've got a video on the 12 gauge rubber slugs too and I wouldn't want to get hit with one.
I don't think that would be a good idea, a pissed off bear is much worse than a curious bear...

Because some places you can’t get a firearm unless you register it.
