I love how there are different genres incorporated like how it’s a fps game but it starts out cozy then horror and souls like. The art style is beautiful, I think this developer is on to something. - Games been added to my wishlist 😊

MOAR FROGS!!
I really loved it. Gave me King's Field 4 vibes a bit. And with that many bosses - creator even added a new one in a post-game patch recentely.
It's also gave me in a way a Rabi-Ribi vibe in a sense of it being mostly solo-dev metroidvania with such heavy focus on well-designed boss-fights. Like - you sometimes play a game by a much bigget dev team with a few underwhelming bossfights and that's it, white here it's somehow both quantity and quality and uniqueness.
It's a true piece of art! :)

I was already sold when you told me it's a Metroidvania during a previous stream, then I saw the frogmonster stream. Now you show me even more goodness. I love this game way too much already and I haven't even played it yet.

16:33 - I've had the same need for such a long time. Demon suggested we do exactly what you're doing too; why not then use the clips and VODs in a voice covered first impressions video. so, I've been working towards that. Personally, I think this is pretty good dude, and like with anything, it'll evolve, but I like it; the value is in the first impressions of the game, or it is for me, and it's good to see your real reactions and energy haha

The sound effects in this game are so freaky and the npc "voices" sound like Keen Dreams or something lol

One of those games where i'm not too worried about gunsounds and stuff, cause this just looks like a very chill and relaxing (even if it can be difficult at times) - experience :D
Format is nice, a good way to use the stream in a vid and telling a story. A bit of tweaking here and there and I think you might be on to something

Yeah overall it's a lot more chill then anger inducing for sure, the subtle but charming sound effects does help with the chill feeling 😄

Solo developers are super talented in 2024. "White Hell" for example is a great game boomer shooter. "White Hell" still gets updates and new levels, did you ever try it?

Said my part about the game in the stream, so here's feedback:
Damn good idea to take material from the streams. It was not always clear for my stupid brain, when there was a voiceover and when stream-Zlim was speaking and a short breakdown of the basic mechanics of the game would have been nice for viewers who don't know anything about the game. Is it a rogue, a story shooter, a metroidvania, how do the powerups work and so on. This comes off as an extended showcase instead of a review - and i think that's a nice change of how to do things once in a while. I mean, why should you use only one format? I see no reason for that, from the outside. Now that think about it, i like that you change it up now and then. And somehow it fits into your overall thing, to not stay in one lane and instead do stuff different form time to time. Like when you put Kaapeli on air on sunday in the stream, that was pretty neat. This spontaneity and versatility is something i don't see on other channels. Civvie has his incarcerated madman thing, Gman has everybodies mother, Jarek is a Dragon, MrIcarus his beard and so on. And they rarely deviate form it. Nice on one side, because you know what you get as a viewer but a bit predictable in the long run.

Actually my feeling for making something different this time came from Pewdipie or how the hell you spell it, and markiplier. I just stumbled across marks doom video and it just hit me, damn alright these guys gots lots of one thing, but they also do mix it up A LOT. So hell here I am mixing it up haha :D Glad it can be enjoyed! and I'll most likely never fully settle on just something and stick to it, not if I know myself which I should do after 33 years

Does it only show boss health when you die? Thats a nice change if so. Sometimes in fromsoft games, Ive panicked when i see the boss is down to small hp. Ill either attack aggressively in an attemp to end it or i'll be watching the health so closely i'll miss the subtle visual cues that the boss is going to attempt a critical attack. Then suddenly they grab and kill you while you howl in rage and pain

@@j85grim4 Oh yeah I know of it, I plan to cover it when it drops on Steam :) It's Epic exclusive right now, but I might not have the nerver to wait we will see :D
@ZlimBratSki I wish they would do GOG exclusives instead of Epic....I understand Steam takes a lot of money from them but it's a pain in the ass to have like every game now needs it's own store and launcher. I have like 11 game stores and launchers now, beyond ridiculous.
