I’ve had to raise my child with special needs on my own on a fixed income, limited support from family because don’t understand how to deal with her diagnosis, I’ve had to leave one school and start my journey all over from scratch, lost a major scholarship, had to repeat a very difficult course and go to school while my child was in the hospital and in some cases, study from the hospital room. It’s not been an easy journey but I know someway, somehow, it can get better and it will get better. In fact, it has… Although, I’m disappointed about the scholarship I received 2 others that’s allowed me to keep going. It’s not easy, I have to study twice as hard as some to keep up and take care of my child with severe disabilities. If I can keep going, so can you.
