Love that you put a larger picture of the book you’re talking about in the bottom corner. Makes it super easy to follow along and know what book you’re talking about in case I missed the author or title.
I always find it interesting how one book can be such a different experience depending on the person reading it :) Other people already said this, but thank you for putting the larger picture of the cover on the screen, it helps. Love your videos!
Thank you for adding 17 books more to my TBR! 😹 Watching your tear ranking videos always helps with seeing how close our tastes are, and I can be confident I'll have a good time whenever I read something you recommend. 😸💜
I just picked up and read blood of Hercules in a day because of your recommendations and idk how the heck I’m gonna wait till OCTOBER to get the second book!!! Omg I need more now!! Any recommendations on books like this one??
It looks like you had a really positive reading year! I don't know anyone who enjoyed Tempest of Tea unfortunately 😅 My favourite romantasy book from last year was Alias Hook by Lisa Jensen. I've been recommending it to everyone who will listen 😂
Thank you for posting this video! I look forward to reading Blood of Hercules so I can understand why this book is so polarizing. The only book I don't agree with you is Phantasma. It was alright but super tropey, and it made me feel zero emotions.
I always love hearing your thoughts on all the books. However I had the opposite experience with Crescent City. I prefer CC2 to CC3. I hope 2025 has more amazing reads for you!
Yeees???? Hahaha but you need to read all the books for it to become clear where her relationship with people are going. All the books were so amazing and each book gets better and better in my opinion! Book 3 literally was perfection to me and I can’t wait for the 4th to see where things are going
As you always say reading is subjective but I have to say Quicksilver was such a “nope” for me. Huge letdown, I found the writing very cringy and the ending was definitely not for me. I actually prefer the CC series to it despite not being a huge fan (especially compared to acotar and tog). I’m very curious why people like Quicksilver so much, the only part I enjoyed reading was when she made the sword but that was literally it.
Wait is Oraya really pronounced “Or-EE-uh”? I was pronouncing it in my head as “Or-EYE-uh” the first time and “Or-RAY-uh” on my reread, and I’ve seen people say either one but never heard “Or-EE-uh” This is the downside to reading books instead of listening to them 😂 I’m always just fucking guessing how you pronounce everything
fourth wing is so incredibly lazily written. some political intrigue has great potential and it just disappoints every time. i went from loving the beginning to being utterly annoyed. gave the second book a shot and the same happened. the prose is like that of a teenager, so much missed potential, etc. i actually think it could have been a really good book series, however i really dont enjoy it. but at least many seem to love it how it is, so that is cool at least ! no what lies beyond the veil ? (of flesh & bone) ? listening to the ab of book 1 rn and i find it to be very enjoyable.

Agree, that was great.

1000% agree with you about Crescent city

This was such a great video, thank you.
I'm so glad you liked it!! 🥰
Absolutely with you on CC 2 and 3. I was beyond disappointed, and it didn't feel like Maas wrote it.
I am on my first reread of Feathers So Vicious, it’s dark but I highly recommended you read the second one!
Love ur videos!!
Loved Phantasma, Heartless Hunter, and the Shepherd King Duology!!!

I’m terrified I’m going to read Blood of Hercules and immediately need to binge the series, which isn’t out lol, so I keep putting it off 😂
I literally just read this in a day and I’m so upset we need to wait until October for the second book!! It’s such an amazing book! Easy 5 star for me

Can someone tell me if the romance is between Theon and Tessa in Rain of shadows and endings? 😅

You should check out Metal Slinger next! It’s such a good read and reminds me of Quicksilver!!❤🥰
I feel like no one likes a tempest of tea. Something about it was just not good😢
