Mule Day Parade for 2011
After a rainy, cold start to the week, the weather could not have been more perfect for Columbia, Tennessee's annual Mule Day Parade. Grand Marshal Knoxie Goad, a long time volunteer for the festivities and the Maury County Bridle and Saddle Club, which puts on the event, led the procession aboard a mule-drawn wagon. Thousands lined the sides of the parade route to celebrate the contributions of the mule to the area and the nation.
