Northern illinois here. We had over an inch of snow yesterday lol. I kept myself busy building pallet wood planters and compost bins in the garage. Everyone needs a side hustle right.
Looks like my truck on the inside. I rarely have room for my kids. Lol! But I have another car to put them in. I should have gotten plastic stakes, but these are my 1st ones ever. Might call my print shop and ask for them. 🤔🤔
8-10 inches here in Kalkaska since last night, I know what you're saying about getting started, I got my Yard signs to put out but the ground is frozen, LOL. Nice wrap.
I use to Blitz a Neighborhoods and give discounts if they would set up for same day of a neighbor service of 5 to 10 to 15 to 20 dollars dependingon yard size. Hell they are saving me money if they did. Then when you get bigger they have no option to get on those days or I just can not do them anymore.
Like if a customer refer's another customer, I give them 2 free mow's, or a free aeration, something like that. I always take care of my customers that way, if that helps.

What's the laws out there for working on irrigation? In NJ you can't install or service without a license... we have alot of landscapers running around here doing it that aren't supposed to.. if caught it's a 5k$ fine

Lol my wife doesn't work a 9-5 but she has her side business which does Ok. Our business pay's all of our bills, I'm proud of that.
