"Are you ready for this, sir?" Him, "I am ready." Me, "Um, no, sir. You aren't ready. You might THINK you're ready, but you aren't really." hahahaha. Welcome to Ren and what he has to offer. Will be following you guys and your journey.
I cry every single time I watch/listen to this. I was blessed enough to buy the limited edition vinyl version of this trilogy that Ren made available recently. Generational violence is just so sad…I had a feeling your buddy did not understand the ending. (He kind of got a weird out of order viewing experience- so, it is understandable) But it was ultimately an awesome reaction..especially once you explained it to him. ❤
This was such a good reaction! I laughed so loud the moment chicken got it.. and it was so funny watching Eagle dance around trying to figure out if he'd caught it. I agree that Ren is a once in a generation artist. love you guys!
Ohh man.. I couldn't agree with you both more about Ren being in the class of those critical voices you mention.. I've been telling anyone who will listen that I feel like I've found the Modern day Bob Dylan.. like Dylan Ren can't be pigeonholed into one genre.. and like Dylan he has some just for fun songs mixed in with several songs that truly challenge you to think about the human condition.. these artists work stimulates necessary conversations and shines light on dark places of our society at times .. you want to look away but it's so well articulated it's so well preformed that you can't look away and I am just like you guys.. I'm 1 year from 50 older than most of these Ren fans and I really think that this new generation needs Ren.. they need his mind, his creativity and his voice.. He is necessary and I'm praying for his health..praying he puts together a long career like Dylan. Great reaction guys.. loved it! Thanks for putting it out there.
I LOVED THIS REACTION! An interesting thing I stumbled across was a channel called Renegade who did a alternative song to Jenny and screech in which Jenny basically breaks the cycle.. instead of freezing and going silent in the face of danger like her mother Violet did.. this version Jenny speaks when she sees James pull put his blade and everything changes for both of them.. it really was brilliant I thought. The writer of the song has it sung by a AI.. but they put the words together and did a lot of work to get it were they wanted it.. it was really interesting and they had a song about the aftermath of Rens version and it's about the officer who was deeply effected by his shooting of a young boy named screech.. I think you guys would like and appreciate them.
@@francesdoll4039 to be fair, I’m only writing what I read someone else say. I googled it to confirm and Ren says on Reddit that it’s one of his favorite and underrated songs about a year ago.
If you’re a reaction channel, what’s the point of watching stuff before you actually get a chance to react to it on your channel. That makes absolutely no sense.
Eagle had seen it before, chicken had only watched screeches tale. I'm hoping you wrote this at the very beginning and went on to enjoy the rest of the video... if you did, perhaps consider deleting your comment because negativity is yuck.
@@piplevett4783 I’m not going to delete the comment. When chicken was introduced to Hi Ren they asked what he should be shown next to react to. I find it silly that if you’re looking for things to react to on a reaction channel that he would go ahead and watch Ren videos before doing them on the channel. Which validates my statement that it makes absolutely no sense to me. The point of a reaction channel and a reaction video is to react to things without seeing them so the viewer gets to see the real reaction.
Yes, it's the same end chord as the James Bond theme.
Great reaction guys 😊

Renegade here, you were wonderful to watch. I just found your channel, I’ll have to see if you’ve done more Ren. Well done and much love.
These were all one take and live recorded.

Amazing Storytelling
Ren❤❤❤❤
Brilliant reaction! Would love to see more, but that means Chicken will have to stop checking Ren out on his own 😅❤
Then you have the Money Game Trilogy which is excellent
Guys If you’re into deep meaning then you might want to react to Swan Song. Ren said it was his favorite song with his band The Big Push.
When did he say this?
Just wondering.

@@carolinekaeser Did the fact that chicken had watched screech take anything away from the overall experience?
@@piplevett4783 for me it did. But that’s my problem not yours.
