Doing research on this headphone, I found there's alot more going for it than what was presented here. Not just the obvious which you see but the electronics and upcoming software tweaks. The prices are all over the place at the moment, from reasonable to the obvious way overpriced. I'd say wait if wanting to purchase till prices level out.
I'm cautiously optimistic with the Ace. The lack of dedicated Wi-Fi connect to my home system being my immediate disappointment. Hopefully, as there is a Wi-Fi chip designed inside, SONOS will address that in future. As for the interview, much valuable time spent on esthetics and not on actual sound quality. PS: how did you never notice that the logo is mirrored? tsk tsk.
Biggest meh ever. We gave up our well working app for these? Another compressed audio Bluetooth headset. I can’t imagine why anyone would choose these over an AirPod max. Other than hardcore fans, that they just screwed over with the app… major missed opportunity to have truly wireless uncompressed audio. I’m very disappointed. I’m heavily invested in Sonos but we sold our arcs for amps so we can’t even use the Atmos features.
Speak for yourself. I've been waiting for a good solution to surround sound without needing to use external speakers. You probably have a wonderful home/apartment with fantastic space all to yourself. Me? In a unit of a triplex with thin walls such that going too loud easily disturbs neighbors. I am living in a surround sound audio ghetto. Your needs are already being taken care of. Lossless audio? I bet you'd be hard pressed to tell the difference in most high quality streaming tests. But people in my position are (and there are a lot of us) are like starving husks dying of thirst and this is the first major sign of water to quench that thirst. Main downside is needing a soundbar to relay the spatial audio. If apple releases a gen 2 airpods max while just needing an apple tv that would be a cheaper entry point.
I have the AirPods Max and Like the BUT they are way to heavy for me and do not fit property on my head. Unfortunately I have more of a smaller head that’s why I always have issues with over-ears because they are to big (looks stupid too on me) and are to heavy and they sit too lose. If I move my head they don’t sit on the same place. If I look down the headset almost falls of my head. So I’m Happy to test the slim and lightweight Sonos headset. I tuning they will work great with iPhones and Spotify. We’ll see … and Sonos want to improve them from time to time ..
Sonos is a joke I have a system in my home and it cost nothing because I bought everything used including the beam but the problem is is that all of their software sucks it’s all quirky never works when you wanted to and you have to spend extra time updating it even when you talk to automatically do it they suck they always have sucked. Do not buy the headphones that are coming out you can do it with a Bluetooth chip 3 or Wifi or anything you want this is technology that’s old they didn’t invent this they suck
These are hot garbage - no WiFi is a glaring miss and these just don’t place well between the Sony XM5s and AirPod max…. Left unaltered with no WiFi and full app support…. These will be $199 in 6 months
Adib mehrabi, we knew you would do well in life. X. (Amanda. Las Vegas)
Sonos Rocks 🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽
Let me play all my music ! No matter what app I have my music in!
