I like this show, Danny is smart like a Nick but seems to be way more objective and consistent. Keep improving boys, there’s definitely potential here. Always liked Mark, Carton can be grating at times but he’s better along side these two.

Records come down to injuries, who played who the week before the game you play them, and the strength of the schedule and your division.
The strength of the schedule is big time in the NFL.

Falcons have had top seed ‘80, ‘10 & ‘12 and nothing. 98 Vikings 15-1 and the 14-2 Falcons beat them and the 14-2 Broncos beat them. 2nd seed Saints in 2011 got Beast Moded out of the playoffs missing the top by 1 win. So winning all you play is job 1 and the side is winning the division and getting a bye so that you are 1 game from getting into the SB. Ask the 2016 Falcons who got their division and 2nd best record because the Seahawks had a tie.

@@jaredpribylWe wouldn’t have to only rely on Kirk like the Vikings had. We actually have a top 3 rushing attack, a top 3 o line, one of the best kickers in the league and on paper a top 5 defense. The playoff issues came with the Vikings missing FGs and a defense that let Daniel Jones drop about 40 points on them.

This is a crazy year where I could legitimately see 25 or more teams think they have a shot at the playoffs. The only teams that I see having no chance at the playoffs are the panthers, patriots, raiders, and giants. Maybe the broncos, cardinals, commanders are on that list but everyone else has a case for making it

As a Saints fan, I would REALLY hate to see the Falcons be the number one seed, esp. since the Super Bowl is in New Orleans this year.
Interesting to see people doubting the Packers... Packers are better at RB without AJ Dillon in my opinion. RB Marshawn Lloyd (3rd round pick) has some Aaron Jones to him. And RB Emanuel Wilson is much more explosive than AJ Dillon. Dillon only average 3.4 yards per carry last year.

Jesus Christ. Every single team in nfl history wishes they had that Atlanta falcons schedule. We’d have multiple 17-0 and 16-1 teams with that schedule
chiefs eagles even seahawks are tough teams.
No doubt that the Falcons and a few other teams have easy schedules this year but they still have 6 games against playoff teams from last season. It is not comparable to how easy the 72 Dolphins schedule was. They faced teams with a .375 winning percentage. If the Falcons win 13-14 games they certainly will have earned it.
@@drew388The thing about the Chiefs is they tend to struggle to get going early to start their seasons and the Falcons are home in that game, with the two safeties that has caused the most problems in Mahomes career thus far. I’d say the Falcons have a fairly good chance at starting off 6-1 this season. If not 7-0 with the way things ended with Philly last season, there might be some internal issues lingering. As they’re 1 of 2 road games in that first 7 game stretch for ATL.

Shouldve started 3-0 but the defense blew a double digit lead. Then the entire offense had a rough 5 game stretch. Then they balled out the rest of the season. So "only 6 good games" was more like 12 or 13 good games. People who deny reality are delusional.

Love finished with a higher completion % and finished the season minus yards, almost matches stroud entire season 18 TD, 70% completion and 1 INT. also has the highest playoff game passer rating and minus a dropped screen pass was going to be maybe the only player in NFL history with a perfect passer rating in a playoff game. love has also had more time to develop in a system, but we'll see i guess
