Sri Aurobindo was an iconic 20th century Indian philosopher, poet, nationalist, and yoga guru. Writer and medical practitioner Pariksith Singh's inspirational book, Sri Aurobindo and Philosophy, takes a deep look into the Guru's life and ideas of an eternal and emergent India. Rooted in Vedantic expression, the book gives us a glimpse into the mind of the man and the community behind the famed Aurobindo Ashram in Pondicherry, India. He will be in conversation with academic and author Makarand Paranjape, the author of the anthology Sri Aurobindo. The book explores the lesser-known essays written during the struggle for Independence and traces the development of Sri Aurobindo's philosophical and religious thought.

Pariksith Singh, MD, is board certified in Internal Medicine. Upon completion of his residency, Singh relocated to Florida and worked for several years before establishing Access Health Care, LLC in 2001. His poetry, stories, literary critiques, and his many translations (from Hindi, Sanskrit, Persian, and Urdu) carry a strikingly original and creative interplay of form and content, technique and narrative, style and substance.
Makarand R Paranjape is a long-standing Professor at Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. He also served as the Director of the Indian Institute of Advanced Study. A poet, critic, novelist, and columnist, he is the author of several books, including JNU: Nationalism and India’s Uncivil War (2022), Identity’s Last Secret (2022), and Swami Vivekananda: Hinduism and India’s Road to Modernity (2020). The 150th-anniversary edition of The Penguin Sri Aurobindo Reader, edited by him, is scheduled for release in 2023.

Bali or animal sacrifice is a integral part of Tantra sadhana. One may call it symbolism of sacrifice or what ever but that's essential from the sadhaka's perspective just like sav sadhana ( meditation over a dead body on panchamundi asan )Don't confuse. Get deep inside Tantra sadhana if you want to learn about these activities. Shallow knowledge can't answer all queries about Sanatan Dharma. But I am sorry everybody don't have the capacity of answering all the intricacies of sadhana of Sanatan Hindu Dharma..
Fathomless ocean of knowledge.. hundred and thousands of life will not be enough to have a minor knowledge of Sanatan Dharma unless and until one have the blessings and grace of MAA DURGA 🙏🏽..
