Fishing in Caleta de Fuste, Fuerteventura - 17/7/24

Two quick sessions on the penultimate day of my holiday. First was a spinning session at first light and the second a night session on the main beach at Playa de Castillo in Ceta de Fuste. For the night session, I was using a Bison 6 Section 11'6" travel rod I purchased from Amazon.

That beach produces some big stingers for me in March. That was a black bream not a gilt great video

Thanks for the fish ID, wish I had bigger rods with me to try for the stingers. My son did a scuba diving course in the harbour and said that he seen 2 large sting rays.

Was there last week. Caught 1 bream. Looked out to point by Ezra Mar.older local guy out every day. Never caught anything. Pool life guard showed me pictures of fish he’d caught but he was out in boat

Enjoyed my holiday there, would love to go back there for just a fishing holiday.
