Meaning thereby that the Moon should occupy 1st, 4th, 7th or 10th house. But the point of Jupiter was a bit unclear to me. So my question here is whether Jupiter too should be in these kendra houses (1st, 4th, 7th or 10th) from ascendant or from Moon. Does it mean that a Gaja Kesari Yoga should be formed with both Moon and Juptier in kendra houses from ascendant to make the native self-centered? Or we should consider one of the Jupiter and Moon in kendra and the other one may be occupying any house. For example, if Moon is in 5th house and Jupiter is in kendra say 4th house. Will this Gajakesari Yoga make the native self-centered or both Moon and Jupiter are required to be in kendra only?

The Gajakesari yoga is strong, but with a twist as Jupiter is retrograde. Will create too much of anxiety and restlessness.

The yoga manifests only in D1 and debilitation will decrease the strength of the yoga, be it Jupiter or Moon.
