A town of disgruntled mewmans(Who would likely jump at the chance to be Solarian warriors if Mina were to offer...) Rhombulus now in prison... (Mina likely knows this, and may try to recruit him.) My prediction? Mina's new plan is still the same, and perhaps the climax will be her raising a new Solarian Army to take back Mewni, made up of all the Mewmans who still resent Eclipsa, possibly busting out Rhombulus and feeding his paranoia to get him on her side likely leading him to believe that the rest of the MHC has turned traitor... As for where the Septarians fit in with this? Would be a hell of a plot twist if Star and Company need their help to save Mewni from Mina and her insanity... (But getting their aid is complicated by Toffees apparent death... ) Though if my theory of him still being alive and held captive by Mina his rescue could fix this problem... (Though I expect him to be an ungrateful bastard about it... Perhaps calling star out for leaving him vulnerable to capture in the first place...) As to why she would hold him captive? 1.Toffee is imortal. 2.Lizard blood is a component needed to make Solarian warriors... Toffee is a lizzard. Double plot twist, if it turns out that Toffee wasn't the one to kill Stars Grandma...

Nate Ortega Well, her feelings for Marco are more genuine now that the blood moon curse is severed. So, whatever she’s feeling for him is true. Now keep this in mind; we find out that in a brief moment Marco broke up his “break up buddy” relationship with Kelly, which occurred off camera. Next weekend, the episode “Beach Day” is releasing. We all know what that’s going to be about! I believe that they are going to confess their true feelings to each other. The creators told us beforehand that Marco and Kelly didn’t have a thing anymore purposefully so the viewers aren’t speculating any confusion about what happened. I just hope Starco is canon next weekend. We’ve waited so long.
It wasn't a rebound relationship if they weren't technically dating they were more like friends that do relationship stuff until they were ready to make it official.
I personally interpreted star's line about doing crazy things when you miss someone you love as her referring to how she was kinda losing it while looking for her mother.
As much as I love Marco and Toms relationship, I really want to see Tom being the grounded friend. Just him being a good supportive friend for once. I need some wholesome skin ship mates.

Rhombulus becoming a villain was out of the left field and i feel like the ending of S4 focusing on Rhombulus and Mina will not be satisfactory as much as their past struggle with Toffee who was much more competent and threatening than current joke villains
The WHOLE first episode was a metaphor for relationships. Kellco is like Tom's Dragoncycle, a fun idea, but done mainly to make them feel better about themselves, and not a commitment either are ready to make. Tom learning to let his Dragoncylce go, and fly on his own. It's all a metaphor.
I do want to point out how Tom’s relationship with his dragon cycle mirrors his relationship with Star. First, it’s rocky and doesn’t really work out. But then Tom decides and promises he will do better and thinks start working out. This is just like with how Tom and Star initially had a failed relationship, and then, once Tom decided he wanted to improve and do better, they formed a successful relationship. Then, of course, Tom realizes his dragoncycle would be happier if he let it free, suggesting that he will break up with Star because he believes she will be happier elsewhere.

While I can understand Star's irritation at having her Secrets closet raided, she had no right to withhold the Book of Spells from Eclipsa seeing as she was the new, and true, reigning Queen. I get that maybe Star thought that Eclipsa wasn't truly ready to have the book since she was still struggling with her royal duties, but if Star understood enough to relinquish the wand, why not the book?
Honestly, I'm impressed with how chill Eclipsa is, Star lied to her face about the book after all this talk of believing in her and being on her side and she didn't even bring it up.

I think Star was alluding to the time where moon went missing and she went on a long wild goose chase to find her rather than Marco when she told Eclispa people do crazy things for the ones they love
"A Boy and His DC-700XE" reminds me of the "How to Train Your Dragon" franchise. Marco sounded a lot like Hiccup when he taught Tom how to bond with his dragon cycle.

Well at first I thought Star was referring to Marco. But then I realized that she was probably referring to her mother, Moon. After going missing for a while, you could see how stressed and determined she was to find her. Searching high and low almost all over Mewni. So as much as I'd want to think she meant Marco, I'm sure she meant Moon.
Notice the parallels to Marco that globgor did in this episode. Both him and Marco are gentle and shy individuals despite their exteriors, but can be real badasses when they get angry. Both balance the upbeatness and energy of star and eclipsas personalities with their logic , ration and a down to earth personalities, both Marco and Globgor being the voices of reason. Both called eclipsa and star " my lady". Globclipsa as a relationship parallels starco perfectly and it shows why they are both perfect and that starco will happen. Also globgor took only 2 episodes to become one of my favourites.
I think when Star talked about missing ppl and bringing them back it more importantly highlights her own mum going missing and Star doing anything to get her back
One thing that annoys me is that Star LIED to Eclipsa first. Star said that she didn’t have any pieces of the book left. BUT she did. Which means she lied to Eclipsa. So Eclipsa has a right to take the book. Also, after all, the book belongs to Eclipsa now. Star breeched Eclipsa’s trust. I feel like someone should at least mention this.
I think the moons in Eclipsia ears are a hint for marco's cheekmarks(mewnian theory) and the part about Star feelings isn't about Marco,is about her mother,and how Star freaked out looking for,during an entire year
It was opposite with me. Afer Toffee was defeated, the show became stale and boring. No longer focused on adventures and lore but only on political messages and endless romantic triangles and shipping dramas. Its like Avatar The Last Airbender ended on the third season with defeat of the main Bad in the first episode and then spend 2 seasons with stories on how Aang and Katara were having different boyfriends and girlfriends before getting together in the end of S4

@ Colibri, I agree. Eclipsa completely betrayed Star's trust and outright LIED. She told Star and the Spider bite royal family that she would cease trying to free Globgor. Then she turns around, rummages through Star's belongings, and TAKES the remaining piece of the book of spells. I think this sort of supports the fact that Eclipsa is more interested in fulfilling her own wants and desires over those of her kingdom.
Colibri- I felt the same. Like to me, it just came out of no where. Eclipsa didn't even show that she believed Star was lying, so why would she bother going into her mind anyway. I think this needed to be built up more. Perhaps, in one of the episodes prior Eclipsa mentioned or gave a clue about her having at least a feeling that the book was still around. And imagine if Star was having problems sleeping, which she brushes off as her stress over the kingdom, Marco, etc., but then reveled to be Eclipsa this whole time. I don't blame the show trying to wrap this plot point up, but it still could have been better inmeopinion.
The monster with the Queen was one of my favorite episodes because we get to hear globgor voice and hear him sing which I thought was pretty amazing plus with his little jokes I did kinda find them funny a little bit. But I also like the episode coronation as well. Where we can actually hear more of globgor sing and learn that he would never hurt anyone and all he wanted to do was to protect his wife and child. Which is why I started to love globgor now because he’s not a bad guy.
Something that set me off in the episode. Star getting mad at Eclipsa for taking the book piece from the closet. The book isn't star's anymore. The book belongs to the queen or the person with the wand. Not only that but it belongs to the Royal Butterfly Family. Star isn't a real butterfly and it's not even her's anymore since she gave the wand and the throne back to the real queen of mewni.

There’s also the fact that she expects trust from Eclipsa when she doesn’t offer any herself, which is odd considering what Eclipsa did to save her and Mewni in the season 3 finale so she should have SOME trust for her. And if Star had been honest from the get go and told Eclipsa about the book piece and that she didn’t trust her, Eclipsa would’ve understood since she is shown to admire Star and value her opinion of her, she wouldn’t have read her mind if Star was honest.
While I understand that Star was upset that her closet was raided, I don't feel she had any right to hide the Book of Spells from Eclipsa. It's hers by birthright and as the reining queen. I can understand if Star was worried Eclipsa would use it selfishly, but the fact that Eclipsa proved time and again that she listens to reason ought to have installed some trust, at least!
You know I think at the end of the series we gonna gets a time jump. Marco went back home on earth lived his life and star did the same back on mewni. Then one day Marco visit star and they hug and star is pregnant with her second or third child by whoever. And then Marco said he has a surprise too his children walk threw the partial and they’re kids come beast friends then end lol

I didn't watch the sneek peek of Globgor voice reveal as I wanted to be surprised when I hear it in the episode release. I honestly was shocked by his beautiful voice ( I haven't read book of spells) I imagined he would have a deep roary voice but with a nervous shy edge. I love how he sounds like a gentleman. He almost has an accent especially when he says " Mewmen " ( not sure what accent it is though)
Am I the only one who is wondering why Marco still hangs out with Heckapoo? She and the Magical High Commission have been nothing but trouble throughout the series
The Monster & The Queen was a great episode, but Cornonation is my new favorite. That video will likely make the reasons very clear, Crystal Clear. I will see myself out now.
I really like the dragoncycles, whoever thought of them had to be a huge fan of the Judas Priest album Painkiller. Also biker Heckapoo looks hot. I really like what they did with Globgor, I especially like how awkward he acted trying to make sure everything goes right.
6:09 it could also be meant to look like the moon that's on the chest of the dress she normally wears, (a partly "eclipsed" moon, funnily enough). Look at the clips of her that are shown while Vox is talking; it's the same shape as the one on her dress.
I actually think them showing the crystal pulverizing spell with the image supporting it being Rombulus was hinting at the whole thing with Rombulus in Cornonation

Dude are we not gonna talk about the fact that globgore is Hispanic?! And are we not gonna focus on the fact that there’s blood on the page of the un-crystaling spell? And are we not gonna focus on the fact that eclipsa’s mom made a spell to un-crystalize People? She had a great connection with rombulus, why would she need that? Plus she would crystallize tons of monsters! She hated em! Also is it weird that rombulus is a monster and he hates monsters?
For me, there are only two ships I support in this show. The first being SpiderxSlime (Princess Spiderbite and Slime) and as of the episodes, The Monster and The Queen and Coronation; Eclipsa and Globgore. With the latter couple, they just seem so perfect for each other; keeping that iconic Beauty and the Beast vibe alive. But while their relationship has a FEELING of that iconic fairy tale. For me, they reminded me a lot of Princess Demura and King Drakor from the Wander Over Yonder episode; The Hero. To make a long story short; the "hero" of the episode, a knight named Sir Brad Starlight, seeks to "rescue" the princess from Drakor's palace. But it's revealed that not only is she NOT suffering but she and Drakor are deeply in love. When you think about it, Rhombulous shares similar traits to Brad Starlight. Both of them are idiots, are prone to immature/childish impulses and perceive themselves as the hero
I feel like from here on out, as we reach closer to the season finale, the episodes only get better and more interesting. Sad to say that I’m going to miss this show when it’s over!

I was more under the impression star was talking about Moon then Marco. As moon was the character Star spent so much time trying to find and missed dearly. Not to say she didn't miss Marco but what happened with Moon felt a lot more of a big deal to her.
I wholeheartedly believe Eclipsa's new earrings and the fact they were referenced in the episode is a reference to Solaria's spell. The instructions required two "earlobe pricks" and Eclipsa said she did every step except the chicken as the last. I believe she just made the holes she had to make in her ears into holes for new earrings.
For whatever reason, the spell being broken by the sound of a chicken (rooster) reminds me of how to kill the mythological beast, the Basilisk. In pop culture, the basilisk is know for both causing death and petrification, which is a reaching tie but it could be a reference.
Ya notice how Tom releasing his dragon cycle had overtones of the old "if you love something, let it go" trope? Maybe this is him building his way toward breaking up with Star because he finally realizes they're just not right for each other, and both deserve better?

Yesika Narvaez- Perhaps. I thought it was still funny though. Like dark comedic dad jokes🤣.
Well at first I thought Star was referring to Marco. But then I realized that she was probably referring to her mother, Moon. After going missing for a while, you could see how stressed and determined she was to find her. Searching high and low almost all over Mewni. So as much as I'd want to think she meant Marco, I'm sure she meant Moon.
Notice the parallels to Marco that globgor did in this episode. Both him and Marco are gentle and shy individuals despite their exteriors, but can be real badasses when they get angry. Both balance the upbeatness and energy of star and eclipsas personalities with their logic , ration and a down to earth personalities, both Marco and Globgor being the voices of reason. Both called eclipsa and star " my lady". Globclipsa as a relationship parallels starco perfectly and it shows why they are both perfect and that starco will happen. Also globgor took only 2 episodes to become one of my favourites.

I think when Star talked about missing ppl and bringing them back it more importantly highlights her own mum going missing and Star doing anything to get her back
One thing that annoys me is that Star LIED to Eclipsa first. Star said that she didn’t have any pieces of the book left. BUT she did. Which means she lied to Eclipsa. So Eclipsa has a right to take the book. Also, after all, the book belongs to Eclipsa now. Star breeched Eclipsa’s trust. I feel like someone should at least mention this.
I think the moons in Eclipsia ears are a hint for marco's cheekmarks(mewnian theory) and the part about Star feelings isn't about Marco,is about her mother,and how Star freaked out looking for,during an entire year
First I hated this show and it's art style but I got in to it after battle for mewni. Pretty cool show
It was opposite with me. Afer Toffee was defeated, the show became stale and boring. No longer focused on adventures and lore but only on political messages and endless romantic triangles and shipping dramas. Its like Avatar The Last Airbender ended on the third season with defeat of the main Bad in the first episode and then spend 2 seasons with stories on how Aang and Katara were having different boyfriends and girlfriends before getting together in the end of S4

I loved the 2nd episode but I'm a little surprised Star wasn't more pissed off at Eclipsa ; same fore Eclipsa about the fact Star lied to her.
@ Colibri, I agree. Eclipsa completely betrayed Star's trust and outright LIED. She told Star and the Spider bite royal family that she would cease trying to free Globgor. Then she turns around, rummages through Star's belongings, and TAKES the remaining piece of the book of spells. I think this sort of supports the fact that Eclipsa is more interested in fulfilling her own wants and desires over those of her kingdom.
Colibri- I felt the same. Like to me, it just came out of no where. Eclipsa didn't even show that she believed Star was lying, so why would she bother going into her mind anyway. I think this needed to be built up more. Perhaps, in one of the episodes prior Eclipsa mentioned or gave a clue about her having at least a feeling that the book was still around. And imagine if Star was having problems sleeping, which she brushes off as her stress over the kingdom, Marco, etc., but then reveled to be Eclipsa this whole time. I don't blame the show trying to wrap this plot point up, but it still could have been better inmeopinion.
The monster with the Queen was one of my favorite episodes because we get to hear globgor voice and hear him sing which I thought was pretty amazing plus with his little jokes I did kinda find them funny a little bit.
But I also like the episode coronation as well. Where we can actually hear more of globgor sing and learn that he would never hurt anyone and all he wanted to do was to protect his wife and child. Which is why I started to love globgor now because he’s not a bad guy.

Something that set me off in the episode.
Star getting mad at Eclipsa for taking the book piece from the closet. The book isn't star's anymore. The book belongs to the queen or the person with the wand. Not only that but it belongs to the Royal Butterfly Family. Star isn't a real butterfly and it's not even her's anymore since she gave the wand and the throne back to the real queen of mewni.

That’s very true. There’s also the fact that she expects trust from Eclipsa when she doesn’t offer any herself, which is odd considering what Eclipsa did to save her and Mewni in the season 3 finale so she should have SOME trust for her. And if Star had been honest from the get go and told Eclipsa about the book piece and that she didn’t trust her, Eclipsa would’ve understood since she is shown to admire Star and value her opinion of her, she wouldn’t have read her mind if Star was honest.

While I understand that Star was upset that her closet was raided, I don't feel she had any right to hide the Book of Spells from Eclipsa. It's hers by birthright and as the reining queen. I can understand if Star was worried Eclipsa would use it selfishly, but the fact that Eclipsa proved time and again that she listens to reason ought to have installed some trust, at least!
You know I think at the end of the series we gonna gets a time jump. Marco went back home on earth lived his life and star did the same back on mewni. Then one day Marco visit star and they hug and star is pregnant with her second or third child by whoever. And then Marco said he has a surprise too his children walk threw the partial and they’re kids come beast friends then end lol
I personally don't think Star meant Marco when she said: "you do crazy things when you miss someone." I think she was still talking about her Mother.

Yeah, like... What was even Kellco at the end? And after that great episode that was Kelly's World and the cute moments on Cornball, too. I don't even know what the writers are doing at this point, this is just an example between others. I don't even expect that much anymore from the show, I'll just enjoy what it comes.

I didn't watch the sneek peek of Globgor voice reveal as I wanted to be surprised when I hear it in the episode release. I honestly was shocked by his beautiful voice ( I haven't read book of spells) I imagined he would have a deep roary voice but with a nervous shy edge. I love how he sounds like a gentleman. He almost has an accent especially when he says " Mewmen " ( not sure what accent it is though)
Am I the only one who is wondering why Marco still hangs out with Heckapoo? She and the Magical High Commission have been nothing but trouble throughout the series
The Monster & The Queen was a great episode, but Cornonation is my new favorite.

I really like what they did with Globgor, I especially like how awkward he acted trying to make sure everything goes right.

For me, there are only two ships I support in this show. The first being SpiderxSlime (Princess Spiderbite and Slime) and as of the episodes, The Monster and The Queen and Coronation; Eclipsa and Globgore.
With the latter couple, they just seem so perfect for each other; keeping that iconic Beauty and the Beast vibe alive. But while their relationship has a FEELING of that iconic fairy tale. For me, they reminded me a lot of Princess Demura and King Drakor from the Wander Over Yonder episode; The Hero.
To make a long story short; the "hero" of the episode, a knight named Sir Brad Starlight, seeks to "rescue" the princess from Drakor's palace. But it's revealed that not only is she NOT suffering but she and Drakor are deeply in love.
When you think about it, Rhombulous shares similar traits to Brad Starlight. Both of them are idiots, are prone to immature/childish impulses and perceive themselves as the hero

I wholeheartedly believe Eclipsa's new earrings and the fact they were referenced in the episode is a reference to Solaria's spell. The instructions required two "earlobe pricks" and Eclipsa said she did every step except the chicken as the last. I believe she just made the holes she had to make in her ears into holes for new earrings.

For whatever reason, the spell being broken by the sound of a chicken (rooster) reminds me of how to kill the mythological beast, the Basilisk. In pop culture, the basilisk is know for both causing death and petrification, which is a reaching tie but it could be a reference.
Ya notice how Tom releasing his dragon cycle had overtones of the old "if you love something, let it go" trope? Maybe this is him building his way toward breaking up with Star because he finally realizes they're just not right for each other, and both deserve better?
