    looking good!
excited for segment 2 cuz then can take any bus that stops kalihi transit ctr instead of being limited to route 20 with 30 min headways. will be the first time i'll have a regular use for the train

This advocate for public transit systems urges a thorough reconsideration of how bus routes meet rail transit center stations. I note the sizable fleet of GM/Ford paratransit lift-vans and repeat my complaint that they do NOT convert to EV very well and should be replaced with new easy-boarding low-floor models that seniors, disabled, school kids and all transit patrons need. Such a new model bus could replace perhaps most standard 40' rattletrap buses which likewise do NOT convert to EV very well nor are they suitable for stop-n-go circuitous routes.
HART transit centers could offer seamless transfers with one or two bus routes of short length that crossed peripheral bus lines. In other words, these suggested short bus routes make a better transit system with 2 convenient transfers rather than 1 inconvenient transfer. The model I use to make this case is Denver's 16th Street Shuttle operating at 2 minute intervals crossing 2 light rail lines and 2 bus transfer centers. Denver decommissioned their excellent hybrid shuttle buses (1983-2013) unfortunately with standard 40' rattletrap buses that should be phased out and replaced with bus fleets built from the ground up for EV drive. .
