Y'all messed up the skillet pizza. Should be a dry pan and get the pizza bottom crunchy again. Then a SMALL bit of water into the pan AWAY from the pizza so the puddle doesn't touch the bread. Then cover and let it steam for one minute. This melts the cheese and such. Left with a crunchy base and melted top. Perfect.
Can we just appreciate the mythical kitchen crew on this one? They cooked all of the food ahead of time, let it get cold, and then reheated it all again!
how do you know they did that? if they said it, I missed it. Stevie says they've been cooked at the start of each round, then says which method the crew thinks reheating with is best. The real way to do a reheating test would be have all meals cooked the same way and the reheating medium is what would be tested, science and all that.

It's weird that y'all managed to mess up skillet for the pizza. Cold piece of pizza, put it in a pan, tent it with foil, turn ont he burner to medium and set a timer for 10 minutes. PERFECT crispy crust and melty top.
For leftover French fries I always deep fry them again. I think that's the best way to get them good and close to the original taste. air fryer isn't bad, but nothing beats a deep fryer.
I use the microwave to reheat the food, and then the oven/grill/sandwich press/airfryer to crisp it up (depending what's available & how quickly I want the food 😂)

Recently started using a toaster oven to reheat pizza. It's better than a traditional oven since you don't have to preheat it or can do so much faster. Never tried an air fryer or skillet, but it's far better than the microwave, imo.
Personally, putting leftover pizza in the oven right away when you turn it on, and crank it to 200c and leave it for 5-10 min gives the best result.. Makes the crust really crispy.

Missed the best way to reheat pizza (in my opinion), a panini press/george foreman grill, specifically one with adjustable heights so you can keep it just above the cheese without touching it. Crisps up the crust, gets the cheese all gooey and melty. It works like a charm.

I don't know why they didn't include skillet in the fries round. Reheating fries in a pan with no oil is the best way to recreate the original taste.
