A recent trip took me to several places on the Jurassic Coast, over 3 days and 2 nights, in search for fish, the Milky Way, food that I could forage and more importantly, some peace and quiet.
Day 1 took me to Chapman's Pool in Dorset, before an excursion to Winspit Quarry in the early hours, to take pictures of the Milky Way.
Day 2 took me to one of the most remote spots on the Jurassic Coast where I spent the day and night, wild camping under my DD tarp on a hidden ledge below the cliffs, catching 16 bass, 14 wrasse and 11 mackerel and enjoying the breath taking views. One of the mackerel, I kept and cooked on the cliff with some freshly foraged plants, finish of the most incredible adventure.
Please sit back and enjoy the magic of the Jurassic Coast in all its beauty. - กีฬา
Inspiring fishing mate, Milky Way shots were beautiful, well done 😊👍
Loved that video, hope you are keeping well and that you will be able to take us on some more of your wonderful adventures 👍🎣
Thankyou, mate. Hopefully I'll be out this week at some point 😄
Enjoy the longer vids, what a great coastal adventure. Thanks for sharing. :) :)
Thankyou 😍 It was very enjoyable for the most part, a little nerve-racking at times 😋
thanks for sharing. Looked like a great day. Inside Chapmans was always a problem with the dead weed. Night fished outside of the pool which was fun but spooky - we were visited by a shark that had been attracted by our chumming. cheers
Cheers mate. I've fished Chapmans a few times and nearly always caught huss. I wonder if that's what you attracted! Definitely a big bass mark but I've never managed to tempt one 😑
@@coasttocountry we anchored about 200m out from Chapmans entrance and chummed all night for conger and big bass. Our boat is 14 foot long and a shark of more than half the boats length slowly passed by within an oars length of the boat - porbeagle we guessed. We know porbeagle are present off the headland.
Nice channel - look forward to seeing it grow with lots more of the same.
Great lure fishing!
Cheer bud, appreciate the kind words :)
Well done Dave,
what a lovely session you had. Those ballen are amazing sport, but also , like you say, each one is different.
Amazing photos and video mate, and a fresh mackerel dinner, just perfect.
Look forward to the next one.
Tight lines mate
Cheers mate. I can't get enough after Cornwall. I hope we can get down the Purbecks soon 😃 Hopefully see you soon
@@coasttocountry It is very addictive, travel light, fantastic fishing, country views and wildlife to match.
Purbecks sounds awesome, definitely in for a plan to be made
Great video mate, you don’t get many lure sessions as good as that in the UK. Got to love the Purbecks.
Thankyou mate. You can say that again! It will take some beating that's for sure
Enjoyed that, great session and some good photos too
Thankyou for the kind words 🙏 all the best
