I’m Belgian, I fully agree with the Dutch guy above. Because of coronavirus, most Europeans aren’t paying enough attention to the American elections right now. Trump has been a bad influence on the politicians leaning towards, or on the far right. You can clearly see them copying strategies and trying out what they can get away with. In my country, especially the lying has increased since they’ve been watching the Donald.

I live in Texas and i voted last week, put in 13 hours Saturday and 5 hours Sunday working at the polls and will work another 13 hour shift on election day, my friends are probably tired of hearing me talk about the election and the trump supporters that were congratulating me on becoming a US citizen in 2017 have been super quiet lately on my social media.
Thank you for doing everything you can to help with this election! I’m also working the polls in Philadelphia and it’s been absolutely insane. Still totally worth it, can’t wait until this is over.

Thanks for setting up my question. Since it's definitely a possibility, 1. what are your plans (PSA crew) if things go south on election day? 2.What would you advise for those of us who literally can't take four more years of this. And on the flip side, what are we going to do to address Trumpism with or without Trump? Because ultimately we have to come to grips with the fact that the existential problem isn't Trump but that there exists s large group of people who believe that someone like Trump is a good idea. How can we prevent future Trump's from happening and stop the rapid rise of fascism in America? A big talking point in comments in the last two weeks I've noticed is that the USA is a constitutional republic in replying to comments about this and that being undemocratic. As if to say that the US is not a democracy.

My 23 year old son, who lives in Tucson, proudly told me recently, that he had early voted in Arizona. Hey guys! I just wanted to say a huge THANK YOU for the build your ballot feature on votesaveamerica.com. I live in Oregon (so 100 percent mail in voting, and has been for years). My housemates and I all sat down on Saturday and used your website to get additional info when our voter's pamphlet wasn't enough. We dropped off our ballots at the election office the same day. Thanks for all you do, it's so fucking important right now.
Watching these three amazing human beings go more and more nuts as the election draws nearer is fucking gold. They are all of us. Tommy looks like he is gonna explode. Favreau is just doing that thing where he laughs and then it turns into crying and then back to laughing. For life of me, I still can’t understand how There is still 40% of some American supports Trump. What does it say about your society? We had a Conservative Trump-light candidate is our 2019 federal election in Canada, he didn’t even made out the Conservative primary. Why is such a big contrast between our two countries?

We also have a very individualistic culture that was created (or at least renewed) by the Reagan conservatives in the 1980s. Where a lot of societies focus on helping the less fortunate, Americans tend to focus on themselves, and even resent immigrants/the poor for being helped. That fits in perfectly with the Trump ideology.

Oregon - easy peazy - vote by mail. Dropped it off at police dept drop box last week. Just verified it was received & counted in less than one minute.

I mailed my ballot last Monday, it was received and accepted the next day.

What I love most about Pod Save America is it feels like I'm just chilling with three smart, funny, passionate, and accidentally sexy men in my living room, venting to each other about politics. I remember when I used to be able to hang out with awesome people and create memories together. I really hope Trump loses so that I'll be able to see those times sooner rather than later.

Considering his political positions and his abominable behavior as a Congressman, I cant in any way find it in me to feel sorry for him. Plus, the dipshit actually lobbied for the job, coz he thought, it was a step up, after the North Carolina gerrymandering was thrown out in court, so he not only didnt have a secure seat any more, he would very likely be easily defeated in the new fairer map.
He was a terrible, selfserving Congressman, and now hes a terrible Chief of Staff, who found out, it wasnt as selfserving, as he thought, it would be. Buh-huh for him. 🎻
A lot of people are not financially stable this period and it's not easy, I always advise people, don't just waste your stimulus checks or salary, invest it in something that will yield more, even if it is a part of it. We can't keep relying on a paycheck that is already half-spent before we even receive it, there are investment opportunities that have helped a lot of people especially in the financial market. Having different streams of income is essential in this pandemic, especially now most of us have to earn and work from home. I've made impressive progress so far this year and it has helped me sort out a lot of bills and I do that through a registered investment company. I love how many calls and texts I get to vote because it shows how engaged people are. On the other hand, I hate how many calls and texts I get...
I've also noticed incredible non-stop fundraising appeals, mailers, vote reminders, etc. My contributions to six senate candidates have been followed by daily texts asking for more. Although somewhat annoying, I am nonetheless impressed by how aggressive everyone has become. Never seen anything like it in my lifetime. And I'm old.

At this point, his strategy is to gaslight 350 million people into thinking the pandemic is winding down, isn't deadly, and if you get sick you'll get a moonshot team of physicians to treat you with state of the art meds. In reality, you'll be told to stay home, drink fluids, and go to the ER if it gets worse.

The electoral college conversation freaked me out a bit. I have to make sure everyone I know has voted. I was able to get my vote done and confirmation received. It's not that hard to make happen.
