Andrew sme with the Samsung a21s galaxy the sad card is split into categories and you can’t transfer everything on the card at once you have to do it by individual categories have done 1 hopefully when all are done the handset will recognise it.

This is the only video showing how to do this, very helpful, thank you. I have a question though. Should the bigger memory card be formatted in the phone first before copying the files on to it, or doing it this way, does the phone automatically format the card before it copies the files on to it?
I don't have a micro SD card reader like this, but this was what I was thinking of doing. I was going to take the smaller SD card out the phone, then put the big one in and get the phone to format it first. Then put the small SD card back in the phone. Then copy all my files from the phone to the bigger card using my computer. Then put the bigger card in my phone after. Do you think this would work.

what happen to 400 mb that you lost during transfer data?
just unmount your old card in the settings before you install new one for it to work.
Will the files not be lost by doin that?

Guys helpp 😭 ive tried transferring medias to SD card on my phone , other albums were okay accept ths 1 large album couldnt , but then all of a sudde 90% of the media(photos and vids) in tht album were gone just like tht 😭 whua im so saddd let me know if u know ways to recover the album back 😭
I have the same Problem. Since MONTHS I am trying to move 140 gb of datas onto a larger sd card but no matter what I try, nothing is working. Not even programms that can clone sd cards (these programms will also clone the size of the old sd card). I have given up by now. I need to deal with the fact that it's not possible to move my datas 😢
Why not connect your phone to a computer. then your phone just becomes another drive on your computer and you can copy your files to a new location. This allows you to back up your phone data to your computer or copy the data to a larger micro sd card.
Does it also work whith a samsung j5?have bought a 128gb.micro sd card
Should be able to OTG 128GB. but you need to check with samsung phone seller is your samsung j5 maximum micro sd card can support.
