All obeisance to Guru and Gauranga. Hare Krishna I was attacked by a civil servant here in Clovis, NM. I am now going to see if the Police department would like to invest in anger release coaching so this anger problem heals a bit in this town.
@@opulenceofheart Hari bol! It's nice to make your acquaintance. Being here in Clovis with Jehovah's Witness family and personal influence is sometimes challenging. The religions and civil servants are two-sided and cutthroat. I do what I can to keep sanity here so I started developing the idea Govinda's Garden Bhakti Yoga Center last year based off of my understanding of varnashrama dharma taught by His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktavedanti Swami Prabhupada and would like to get some Bhakti programs going for devotees and like minded individuals.
Haribol, I have a what may seen like an odd question that hopefully the audience of this wonderful podcast can answer for me. I work in a regular shop, we sell all kinds of karmi products including meat. I am not trying to change the nature of the business, it is what it is. When I am on shift I am allowed to play music of my choice. It does need to be something inoffensive, something that won't put off any customers but it is mostly for my benefit. Ideally I would listen to kirtans and bhajans I don't think that would be appropriate. I was wondering if there is anyone out there making regular music that they are offering to God. Something that sounds like regular music but is at least not having a negative spiritual impact on me or my customers. Like audio Prashadam.
Hare Krsna Prabhuji. Check out Malte Marten and William Augusto for soft vibes, or George Harrison if you want music with lyrics. Christian rock bands can also help, many of them have god-conscious music that doesn’t only necessarily apply to Christianity but to many other faiths.
Thank you for replying Prabhuji, I look forward to checking then out. I do love to play a bit of George Harrison, my sweet lord always makes me cry. Thanks again. Hare Krishna
The origin of the name Rishikesh is very mysterious, lot of people there have different stories about it. Beautiful place by the way.
