I love this video so much. I love the focus on affordability and creativity and using things that have been out for a while like the Volca Keys that are still wonderful. Really masterfully presented! Thank you for this. Many great ideas.
Always a pleasure. I loved that Ambient atmospheric textural stuff. I have a MN TMMM and it is basically my pedal board for Strega and others ha ;) Sooo much fun! How does one get any music done. I appreciate you showcasing several different options. That was rad what you did with the vox too. Nice vid. Have fun 😊
Nice video 👍 I've been putting something similar together recently, a rack just for processing/effects, it'll be my first go at using modular/Eurorack - I just need to finally get around to building a case! 🙄 I've got a few modules already; a fixed filter bank, a filter, spring reverb (with an actual spring), an I/O module, a mixer, next I'll get an analogue delay and possibly a multi effects module. I can't wait to hear how it all sounds.
@@PanicGirlVids Yep, I'm excited to finally try out all the modules, especially the fixed filter bank; the first time I heard one I knew I had to try one for myself.
Great vid Martha! But I miss the module I fell in love with recently, the Morphagene! It is just incredible for Ambient. Maybe some day you do a video on Granular synthesis?
Oh sorry 😅 The orange adapter is a 6,35 mm to 3,5 mm jack adapter to get the mic signal into the envelope generator. Afterwards I'm patching the signals into the effect modules as you can see in the top down shots. I hope that answers your question?
@@PanicGirlVids It does thanks, I just didn't realise a mic could go straight into an envelope generator. Assumed there'd be issues with power/impedence/preamp. Don't use mics much so that was an eye opener

That sounds like a great selection already! I'm sure it will be huge fun 🙌

Would you guys like me to cover any other topic in particular? Let me know and I will see what I can do 🧙♀

That's actually a great idea, I'll have a look into it!
I’ve always wanted to build a modular effects rack for my bass… 🤔
Good idea, could be a lot of fun 🙌
Please do an Oppenheimer synth tutorial
Do you have any specific sounds of the Oppenheimer score in mind?
I dont know if this would help but destroyer of worlds was a great piece i wonder which synths were used@@PanicGirlVids
Hold up, slow down, you can't just plug a mic into an envelope generator via some frankenstein jack without explaining what you just did
