Ha ha, I slid down Old Nine Line on a hardtail about 20 years ago. Vail was the first time I'd ever encountered a berm and didn't know what to do with it. It was only about 2 ft. high and it befuddled me. That dual crown would have been a handy tool. This brought back such fun memories, thanks for posting. I could show you the video but I think we were filming in about 240p back then. My gosh, I'm so old!

After hitting Trestle two weeks ago, this looks like the perfect raw trail complement to that fantastic day of breaking bump arm pump shredding. Would love to ride Vail someday!
Like the Vail video, I thought they said no bikes on the gondola this year, but clearly they updated that. Vail does not have a lot of trails, but a few solid ones and a nice change from say Trestle. Thanks Nate! #whistlerWithdrawl #borderIsClosed #TheyDontWantUs

Great riding as always! Wondering....never heard much recently about Vail's DH until this video. It looks nice. How would you say it compares to Angel Fire? I'd probably be willing to drive the extra to Denver for the available stuff for the family.
Awesome and super stable video, what's your camera setup? Can see your hands and bike shaking a lot but image is super stable. Have a GoPro on the chest and it does the stabilization or something else?
This was most likely before that. I was up there two days ago and it was super smokey. Its also possible the wind was going the other direction, sometimes that just makes it completely clear outta nowhere.

We saw that park, too big of jumps for me. Do they have smaller ones you can progress on?
Yes there are small, medium and large jump lines. I was there last weekend and the large jump are way too big for me!

Last few days have been better where I’ve been at least, but it all depends on how the winds blowing in comparison to where you are.
This was filmed on Wednesday. The smoke levels are wind dependant.
