That was a night and day comparison. I like the sound of the tele much better. The sound was cleaner, brighter, and really sings. In my opinion, the HSH was nice, but the tone was thinner and didn't punch like the tele. Thanks for sharing with us jonathan

Very well stated! Jon's phrasing is clearly the result of many years in the studio. I really like his balance and control of legato/staccato in his leads, too - he creates a beautiful flow that to me, is the mark of a master.
Any Harley Benton brings a smile to my face but these two especially!

Just got my Fusion T HH and the pickup selector switch is angled like the strat model. Much better for us fat finger dudes! First rate quality and the neck and fret work is amazing.

HI Jon. Your demo tracks just keep getting better. Great work. I'd suggest weighing these guitars & adding that info. I'm on the lookout for 'lighter' guitars, I'm selling my 9lb/4kg LP style to find something in the 7lb/3kg -or less- category. So always interested in the weight. My Tele Thinline is less than 7lbs can play that all day , anything heavier is just too much like 'work' - for me.

Nice, I had exactly the same idea. Reckon this would be such a versatile guitar with some P-Rails, although to be fair any guitar with P-Rails will be versatile.

I hope you have checked out most recent vids I did as I adore your feedback. Still only have the boss Gt1 and using headphone out. But I've been trying to focus more on my Atmospheric blues, as that is what I seem to feel most loved. Comes natural to me. I will keep practicing and hope one day to be HALF as awesome as you. I would totally Jam with you anytime ...you know I came from nearly 30 years drums to guitar 1.5 years ago. Hahahaha but your videos are a benchmark for me! Kick ass.

I've played off/on for years but really still consider myself to be a novice on guitar. If you were in my shoes and were going to order three HB guitars to take advantage of their shipping, which three would you buy? I was thinking possibly CST-24T, SC550, and a TE-70 possibly but I'm just not sure. This is an open-ended question for anybody else that reads this comment as well and would like to throw in their 2 cents. I was also considering a Hotone Ampero to go with said guitars. Thanks and keep up the great content my friend!

@@JonIsJustTooLoud I definitely am considering an acoustic in the mix as well although I'm not sure which one of those I would go with. I know that HB has an Ovation round back knock off. I always thought those were pretty cool acoustic guitars but a jumbo might be the way to go instead.
The Fusion T , is for me the best , but i look the chapman ml3 traditionnal too , more expensive , but very nice too .

I love how you play but I don't like the tone of the first gen fusion. Not even with seymor duncans. A bit surprising. I thought it was the stock pickups before you mentioned the duncans. The first guitar sounded great!

Thanks for the demos. I am wishing for that strat. The thomann website has this strat with one string tree, did you add a second one on yours?? Others had that extra nut thing like one of yours that you removed. I am talking about fusion ii ofcourse. Is that secon nut a problem??

The weight is stated in the fusion T HH video Rick.. I think it’s about 3.2 kg or more✌️
Harley Benton meanwhile delivers far better guitars than subsidiary Squire by Fender, and often also far better when it comes down to the price. It amazes me that a HB can be sold for a couple of hundred bucks and being even better than some expensive Gibsons and Fenders.

Jonathan, you always play the whammy bar on your demos. On the HB Fusion II T it comes with the Wilkinson Floating trem. How much time you usually have to spend to get these guitars set properly. I would love to be able to use one like you do, but with a 6 point fender or squier system, I can never get it right, so i almost always block them off. Are the HB guitars trem bar set up very well from the factor?

In one comment, you mention the SH-16 that you put on fusion-II is the normal one not trembucker and it's fine. Does the pole pieces on that pickup lineup perfectly with all the strings ?

Tempissed...Everyone hear things differently. For me, the stock pickups did not appeal to me, thats why I changed them. As for the retainer bar on the first version..it was making tuning very very difficult if you are using the tremolo bridge. It was something that Harley Benton took note of and gotten rid of.
It sounds like on this it’s same as the other fusions the pickups are the weakest link

Hi Jonathan, I was looking for a guitar with a design like Ibanez AZ/Suhr Modern, but way way cheaper, and I came across your channel and this Harley Benton Fusion. I really like the design, the pickup config (H-S-H), and the flamed maple top. However, I am really confuse on how to get one. Do I have to buy it through thomann only? I am not really familiar with Harley Benton even though I can find some other models being sold (used) here in my country (Indonesia). How long does it usually take to get the guitar shipped to you? Is the packing good enough (packed with wood/any protective measure)?
Also, can I make a request... Please review the Harley Benton Fusion II with ebony fingerboard, it is cheaper than this roasted maple variant,,

I have the Harley Benton Fusion-II HSH and think it is a great value though it's of course not perfect. Mine suffers from 'Spaghetti Neck'. Anyone else notice this?
@Really? My neck‘s fine on mine, it‘s my favourite part of this guitar and why I‘ve bonded so well with it. I don‘t know what spaghetti neck is though I can guess and it doesn‘t sound nice. Is it not something a setup tweak can solve?
@@mountainman8775 Nope. Spaghetti Neck is a term used to describe a guitar neck that flexes very easily. If I just lightly touch one of the tuners it changes the tuning. I believe that it affects tuning stability on mine.
Really? Aha I will Google Spaghetti neck. That‘s different I take it from the early tuning stability issues the first HSH models had due to how the string tree was placed, which was easily fixed
Really? Actually if you haven‘t changed your string tree yet - a lot of people talk about that and how to do it in videos on the HSH model - that might be the problem
