How does one get a question read out on this show? I posted the above question a few weeks back, it never got read out. Then this week someone posted pretty much the same question and theirs got read out.

Every year I go to cheltenham for the 4 days. I wear my yellow and green scarf and cheer all the J P Mcmanus horses. I always do a green n yellow lucky 15. I get 2 or 3 winners every year. Commiserations with Ballyburn. You get a 'winner' and it's taken away. As you were at the meeting when Casey said it was a non-runner perhaps you can elaborate as to why, particularly as it initially appeared to be all systems go, and the stable usually throws the kitchen sink at the race? Assuming the horse is fit and well - nobody has said otherwise - it makes no sense whatsoever. Plenty will be on NRNB, but I am sure the vast majority would have preferred to see the horse running in the race.
Confirmed. Has thrown the kitchen sink, but for some strange reason it doesn't include this horse who could very easily be better than any of his multiple entries. Unless he is injured it makes no sense.
Personally I think you should forgive a horse 2 bad runs. Decorated Knight did as much then won the Irish Champion Stakes 2017 at 25/1 and taught me a valuable lesson 🏇
Paul, I would have had for plenty but it was kind of part and parcel of the game really , you just had to try and manage it as best you could. It never really bothered me when someone didn’t pay for bets they lost but when you gave someone reddies out of your own pocket, and never got them back, that was very different. Your man Des must have been owed some loot when he was so tragically killed. He always struck me as a kind of a softie who wouldn’t really pursue a debt
@@jackdineen8983Thanks for that Johnny,yeah as you say it's part of the game and you know before you start you will get knocked, believe it or not des would have soon tackled someone for debt he had a heart like a lion in more ways than one.he was owed a lot but by the end there were very few that would have knocked him,and another thing there were a lot came and paid his wife after he died,so there are a lot of decent people.Anyway Johnny your show with David is class yous are a great match,you have gave a lot of insight into the gambling end of the sport.👍🇮🇪
His disappointing at Cheltenham was due to the bone condition he was suffering from, not his wind. It was only after his comeback run they discovered the breathing issue & they dealt with it straight away.

@Gc he's one of the worst favourites of the week. Fair play to anyone on at big prices but his current price is brutal for what he's actually achieved.
Imagine Johnny if Paul Townend doesn't choose to ride Facile Vega in the Supreme and it wins? People would say why didn't he ride that it was only bad run. Does that make you think twice about writing off horses?
