For someone who enjoys blessthefall, i see stars, Memphis may fire, I'm embarrassed to admit I never heard of this band until a few months ago. This song is amazing!

I think i understand this song now. its a conversation between him and his conscience. look at it line for line and picture him having a converstaion with his conscience and you ll understand the meaning. In the end of the song , he finally listens to his conscience as it screams and he finally realizes that these days he WONT be better off another casuality contrary to what the chorus says.
i'm sure he would be in love with this album, i'm so sorry you had to lose what you knew of him but i'm sure his spirit is still there with you everywhere you go.
For example in their song I Swear This Place Is Haunted from Adelphia, just listen to how perfect everything is composed together in that song! You don't hear any of that in their recent music. Still love them though.
I personally think ASD has always been great except their Identity on fire album. (I got bored of it quickly) Adelphia was my favorite even though a lot of people didn't like it but I thought it was composed greeat! The keyboard, guitars and drums in that album were put together perfectly and it gave out this amazing atmosphere! The guitars and keyboard were way more melodic in Wires & in Adelphia than they have been in their previous two albums.

I went to warped this year, they were only playing this crap, I didnt even bother watching them, sad they were one of the main bands I went to see, play what your fans want to hear, obviously if the same people that came to see you are coming to see you still but not buying ANY of your new merch or albums they must be there for your old music, which by the way is good enough for me to still be listening to for god knows how many years later.....
