1. Show gameplay in the trailer immediately.
2. Then show gameplay in Gifs in the description. I love seeing gifs related to information.
That's what interests me while browsing Steam.
It's frickin, 8 am on a tuesday.... damn this is still a great video.... fine I'll get my coffee
Tim, you don't even have a video on your own steam page! :)
Videos are absolutely necessary if you want to do things right. But sometimes doing things badly is better than not doing things at all.
- my bullshit excuse for not having a video 🤣
Watching through first tip and it's already quite useful, gj
When videos on steam lag for whatever reason ( bad internet, using phone ect..) I skip to images, to me they work like a backup version of the video to give me the same idea or to expand on the idea of what type of game and gameplay features are in the game
10 seconds sounds extremely generous. If there is no upfront interest in your studio or product, I'd say it's more like 3 seconds.
That's some great topics discussed here in this video
Nice Tips bro
Great stuff, love what you guys are doing, been following for quite awhile, just one question. Will you guys be having a workshop like the one you mentioned, again in the future? We're going to an annual two day convention during that same two day period, and I don't think the workshop is financially feasible for me right now. However, the workshop is something I would love to do down the road, given everything it covers, the interactivity, etc.
Hey Chris! So we're considering it. Not totally sure yet, but if we can make it happen, then sure! We're also exploring ways to make it more accessible but still financially viable for the workload too.
@@tim-ruswick That is good to hear. Do you think it would be worth it (or even possible) for someone that can't make the event at all, but got a ticket just for the recordings? Hopefully the workshop is a big success to the point that you guys can't help but repeat in the future. 😅
Tims back! Keep the content up mate! L-E-G-E-N-D
I love seeing Tim Ruswick videos in my feed! It's a shame about the other guy though.
Wish that other guy had a TH-cam channel too tbh 👀
Id love to see videos of that other guy in MY feed. But idk I think he got too TH-cam famous and couldn't handle it.

Great video. "Dickie A Cumming: The Prequel - (Part I)" is struggling. Could you please take a look? I paid an artist to design my capsules and he could not do it - so I had to do it myself.
Brilliant 🔥Thank you guys!!
very useful stuff, nice
