I'm a bit new to Li-Po, but 3.7 is the nominal voltage. Discharging is safe to a bit lower, correct? Is there an advantage (or damage avoided) by ending flights near nominal V?
It's better for the Lipo's lifespan if you don't discharge it always to it's minimum voltage. But in this case the Flywing's battery has a relatively large internal resistance which means that during the end of the flight the actual voltage per cell was much lower than 3.70V - large voltage sag during discharge.
Maybe, but you can't use a heavier battery than the stock one because the heli would become too heavy when using only two bladed rotor. If you are using a 4 bladed rotor than you could easily use a heavier battery.
Hi Andrej. I am going to install an H1 controller. I wanted to ask you what you think of applying a pitch curve for when it is ONLY in 3D mode, I don't want to do 3D flight but I do SPORT, and I would like to have a curve with -5º, 5º and 10º. Apart from this way having 5º in the middle of the STICK, when you go from GPS mode to 3D you will not have that sudden drop. Thanks!
@@AndrejSturm Thanks Andrej for your answer, the only thing to keep in mind is that you have to arm in GPS mode, because if we do it in 3D mode with the pitch curve applied, the controller will not receive 1000ppm from channel 3.
@@AndrejSturm Looks like your linked video was in "slow motion ". To see an actual representation of hover stability, video should be in "real time", becaue slow motion makes it look more stable and stationary than it actually is. Also, to best showcase a stationary hover the video should be shot with camera on a tripod to eliminate camera movement. Great vids tho, thanks much for sharing 😊
My original battery is still totally fine. The provided lipo charger is quite bad so I never used it. I am using a quality ISDT charger. The stock charger doesn't balance lipo cells perfectly.
@@AndrejSturm I never use the provided charger too. I use balancer charger, but the 2 lipo provided was unbalnced at the first charge .. now now 1 element by back is dead.. the shop never want replace the batt I have buy 2 lipo tatto 2.3amp 10,5cm long
very beautiful back ground veiw of the land scape with the bell206 flying . this is an awsome video sir l love it!!!😃❤❤

@@AndrejSturm That makes sense and thanks for the info. Really enjoy your vids!
beautiful scale 👍
Spectacular flying 👏
Thanks ✌
Where can I purchase the twin rotor setup? Thanks
There's no need to buy it, just watch this video:

@@AndrejSturm Cheers man I really appreciate it. Keep up the amazing work I'm loving your videos!
Very fine ! Did you fly in GPS mode ? 😀 and do you need to make compass calibration each time before you fly or once for all ? 😀
I almost exclusively fly in manual mode. I've done just one compass calibration since I've bought it, no issues at all 👍
@@AndrejSturm Thanks a lot 😀
@@AndrejSturm Is it easy to fly in manual mode or 3D mode on the transceiver ?
I'm wondering will you see if you can increase the flight time by using alternative batteries?

this is FW450 installed to custom-made canopy?
This is the original FW Bell 206 Heli mechanics.
Where did you get your helicopter

Hi Ignacio, that's a good idea. I think it should work. I will try that on my FW450.

@@isabido Hi! Sorry, not yet.
now this model is sold with 52watt batterie 3300 mha ... same problem tail movements oscillations (and noise tail rotor osillation)
Would like to see a 30 second "hands off" stationary hover.

excellent
Thank you! Cheers!
is it just me, is that kit amazingly stable?
It is stable.
Version 1, or version 2 ?
Mine came with a 4 bladed rotor, that probably means it's V1, right?
@@AndrejSturm Not really sure, but the two rotor is more realistic I think👌😊
Nice
Thanks 😊
how much do you set % throttle control and % tail gain thanks for the answer
I fly 20 min on my V3 on a 3000 battery
yes but eavy flight
batterie low quality mine is unbalanced after 7 flight
