If this is open source, where can I download the .stl Files for printing the non bamboo parts and are You ever going to offer a Tadpole Trike for People like Myself Who are not really safe on Bicycles because of medial conditions?
i guess this type of making bamboo bike is more effective and easy way but why your company stop making like this ? is there any difficulty for making bamboo bike ? or making 3d print lug is expensive ?
Hang on. No epoxy? No carbon tow or flax rope or nothing? I was assuming that the 3D pieces would only "fixture" the bamboos together, from their inner diameters, and provide a nice outer surface to receive the joining material. Just joining bamboos with 3D-printed plastic only, I'm sorry but I find that hard to believe. (You're an arts major, aren't you?)
@@spacehaxx2225 No it didn't break it however was a concept bike and many improvements are needed! To join we are using a glue join which is stronger than a weld.
How much did it weigh in at? I've got some Nylon 910 coming in and I keep reading it's just as strong as the carbon fibre composite prints, except for the prints that come out of some new printer by MakerBot I think which lays down the CF in strips instead of crushed up bits of fibre mixed with plastic or other.
I call B.S. on finishing it in less than 8hrs. It probably took at least 8hrs to print the bottom bracket lug then you have to print the other lugs. Probably 3-4 days of printing if you’re only using one printer.

it takes a long time, we do use lugs as a concept but make them using a mold rather than 3d printing.
what type of filament is used for those lugs please??
Are the stl files public?
I want one!!

It carbon fibre printed parts…
@@BamboobicycleclubOrg Incredible. And they didn't go on to pull out or break later? Really? REALLY?

It was around 8kg. Nylon isn't as strong, be wary!
Do you have those on the website?
We have a newer version - www.bamboobicycleclub.org/en/product/lugged-kit-frame/
What 3D printer and filaments were used in those bikes?
José Guerrero shoul use nylon or the best option policarbonato
Stl files please
The dutch are researching about sustainable epoxy base on nuts...
We use a more sustainable epoxy which is a bio resin. Nuts sounds really intresting
I built a bike using a product called Ecopoxy back in 2010. www.ecopoxy.com/ecopoxy-resin-and-build-hardener/
what's the point?

Why is he comparing bikes to cars ? You really can't put away a car for a bike unless you didn't really need the car in the first place.
most of the people use car where they don't need it. But I agree that sometimes you cannot replace car by bike
