Your accent is great in my opinion, you easily have the most interesting GOT content on youtube. I can't believe the research you do. Keep up the good work Scriva!
False, everyone on set would've immediately died from disease, natives, King Kong, and whatever else GrrM thinks of. Edit: Can't forget the dinosaurs either.
Sothoryos makes me wonder about the unexplored lands of ASOIAF. Let's assume the word of ASOIAF has a southpole and an equator like our own planet. On earth there is a lot of desert around the equator because of the climate. So if we assume climate has the same effect on land in the world of ASOIAF, there is still 1/3 of the world not mapped. Or maybe half. Sothoryos could even extend all the way to the southpole for all we know. There might even be other civilizations that are very far away, very well hidden or kill any outsider on sight. Worshippers of some ancient forgotten god perhaps. We'll probably never know.
I think the Brindled men and the Green Hell are like the Dothraki and the Great Grass Sea, there may be small civilizations deep in the jungles like the Neck in Westeros they may even be like Children of the Forrest or the crannogmen.
The new opening's better in my oppinion. Awesome video as always. One more thing that I'd recommend is try to avoid stuttering parts when showing parts of the official lore videos.
How the hell did you compile and articulate all this information? I just watched an interview where George Martin said a sum total of two things about Sothoryos, and then you blew him out of the water with this video
How you ask? Plagiarism. He's just reading it word for word straight off of the Wiki of Ice and Fire. And he doesn't give credit or place his resource for it either.
Sothoryos, was something I had a difficulty trying to pronounce, considering that as of Season 7 has never been mentioned. Prior to this video I thought the second O was silent, so I pronounced it as Soth-ryos.
More like an Africa analog; which was known by Europeans, even in ancient times, even though they knew little of the interior; the Basilisk isles are like the Barbary pirates... the "South America" analog and the "North America " analog are yet to be discovered to the WEST of Westeros...on the other side of the Sunset sea...
Aca Aca..Isn't parts of Essos basically North Africa? I mean like old ghis asterpor and Meereen with the pyramids deserts and middle eastern and east African looking people?
Of all the places you could settle, why the one called "Isle of Flies" ? Like at least basilisks are cool lizard snake things. Flies are just annoying and ugly
He doesn't give credit for any of it either. No listed resources. Plagiarism at its finest. He also has the nerve to say "thank you" in response to compliments about all his so-called research.
If Westeros can have giants, children of the forest & white walkers, then I can't imagine the wonders on the other continents.
Yeah even Ulthos
Essos had stone giants,a form of children so mabey the other continents have different variations of men, children and giants
Vujo Gaming you should do a Gogossos play through in the century of blood mod.
talking about crusader kings 2?????
Sothoryos's jungles sound scary AF. There definitely needs to be some type of show or book dedicated to the continent's lore and history
Oh look, the GOT universe has Australia...
More like South America.
i think its africa mate
Cmon folks, it's a land of only deadly creatures that want to kill you every step of the way. Most Australian thing ever! :D
Nick Alexandrov Eh not really. South American jungles and land is more dangerous than Australia.

What is your accent?
Mortablunt Braavosi =)
He's pretty much reading off the Wiki of Ice and Fire, not much actual research is done here really.
Fun fact: Sothoryos is the actual filming location for Anaconda. There were no special effects.
False, everyone on set would've immediately died from disease, natives, King Kong, and whatever else GrrM thinks of.

Actually there is no desert around the equator.
@@SantomPh For Africa its just jungle.
For South America, its also jungle and maybe the Andes I'm not exactly sure of its location.

such an interesting continent

Those facts are from his books, mostly from a book about Targaryen history

A Great Lore Master indeed
Thank you!
It's SEH-VERED. Not seveered. With the same Ver as Vernon or Cape VERde. Just saying to help, not being rude. Really like your work mang
so this is suppose to be Africa, Australia, New Zealand, and South America...
yes, the former Gondwanaland ancient continent of the south, I thought that too
It's Louisiana 😂
yes, because for an european man all countries in the south are the same...
Brindled men = Dungeons & Dragons-style orcs

In my opinion, more like a mix between Amazon rain forest and middle Africa.
In my opinion you're an idiot
