I appreciate variety and entertainment. However, I can totally understand why so many go for the song/dance. For most, it’s their bread and butter (and having an original song is mostly for the rights, etc. as most of them aren’t singers), lip syncing and/or dancing and/or singing is their talent. It reminds me of Vanity Vain on Sweden who kind of protested at the talent show wanting to point out that lip syncing is a talent (and well, not every one does it well, so I see the point). But we’ve seen how lip syncing or dancing to a non original song is received or some people not getting clearance for the song or music, and having to rethink the whole thing last minute. And unfortunately (not for us viewers though), those that bring something out of that box aren’t always well appreciated/received by the judges even if it’s entertaining for a lot of us. So I get why most of them keep it “safe”. And there’s also the short amount of time allocated for the performances. A couple of minutes is not a lot for a stand up routine for example (don’t get me wrong, if it’s bad, a few minutes is too long!), or a full on number with a few parts. I’m thinking of Irene Dubois’ number on s15 that flopped. She had done it previously, and it was successful. And I could see how it could be funny. But the way she edited it down to fit within the time given, she lost what made it successful in the first place. Anyhow, I do wish they were able to give us a “show” with different types of performances.

Just giving 3 badges TO BOTH OF THE TOP QUEENS is absolutely ridiculous, and honestly just unfair. Just for one challenge?? Plastique was dominating the entire season, only being weak in lip syncs.

Roxxxy deserves this win. Her storyline is great. Though it’s her third time she deserves it. Plus she is part of the best season of drag race hands down. Plastique did incredible but she doesn’t need the win. She’s gonna be fine with that TikTok money. Plus let’s have a Latino winner. It’s needed

Imagine being Nina West. You end with 4 badges, and you gave a badge to Roxxxy who made it to the finale with 5 badges.
Imagine being Gottmik, winning snatch game and the ball, but coming in last place while Vanjie won one challenge, and arguable won a challenge alongside someone else that may or may not have been deserved and made it into the finale.
Imagine being Plastique, having the most memorable runway package in ages, showing how much you’ve grown and improved and being high placement almost every episode, but only winning $1500 for charity and being snubbed for the finale.
I genuinely liked this season, the queens, the lip syncs, the challenges, but production turned it into such a nightmare with the multiple unjustified wins and the badge bullshittery.
It would have been better without the charity honestly.

@taintedlife2618 It was for sure strategic. Do you think nina would win the talent show with this cast? To be in top 3 you have to have at least 5 badges. Nina wil get 4 if you pick plastique, jorgeus or angeria they would be in the finale you can pick only roxxy or 2 badges girls. IMO nina and got mik do not have chance to win the talent show. nina would be the weakest link so strategically you should pick nina or roxxy
You could risk it all and block roxxxy by giving it to 4 or 3 badge girl and pray that another two 3 or 4 badge girl will win the talent show. But it is too risky
their twists are just too much. it's like saying that you can do bad in the first episodes just do well in the end bc all of the badges are there
@seokjin9509 I love twists but those should be like you get 1 star, if you win lipsync you get 3 or just 2 stars for both- this way double diamond would be more dramatic. Or you get 1 star but you can steal another from someone else. Or something that allows queens to be more strategic

The fact that they’re doing the same exact thing that caused a ton of unnecessary hate towards Shea & Monét on AS7 is a bit tone deaf of production. I honestly feel bad for Angie & Vanjie because we all know the fans are gonna go overboard and take out their dislike on them which they both really don’t deserve.
idk who can possibly hate on queens. literally they are ALL STARS for 1 reason: because fans we love them so much. Angie and Vanjie slayed the whole season just as Plastique or Jorgeous. They deserve to eb on the top. If it would not be a final challenge like that it would be very boring. It is a show.
Angie shouldnt be getting no hate. Angie has crushed this season. But Vanjie over Plastique? I can see it. I'm a complete Stan for vanjie but Plastique has exceeded my expectations so much I want her to win (even though I know deep down it's Roxxxy Era)

I think Roxxxy's charity being a local one and one that she works with directly seals it. It's just such an important message especially right now. Doesn't hurt that Roxxxy is also one of the best, if not the best competitors.
My suspicion is that the production thinks that Plastique's charity choice isn't the most needy financially. Also, someone called "Mama" probably didn't like the fact that the stunning girl didn't remember her words in 3 lip syncs.
Plastic is just not a performer. She's gorgeous and can dress the entire country down, but giving they just had an Asian queen win seasom 16 I highly doubt they'll give another Asian any type of money anytime soon. Ru thinks all Asians are rich, we are actually poor we just work hard ten times as much as you Ru and we still get paid scrap. But what makes us rich is being able to hold out family values together and staying true to each other with as much as being humble respectful and kind to others. What can mama say about that. The t is where is mamas family, nowhere that we dunno about. Poor RuPaul

Honestly... awful season towards the end. Besides the Lalaparuza, Roxxxy didn't really bring it like everyone expected her to on most challenges and runways. She was gifted a badge, Vanjie and her were gifted a challenge win they definitely didn't deserve, Shannel was gifted a challenge win and an extra badge, Jorgeous was gifted 2 badges she didn't really earn... Gottmik and Plastique were robbed a few challenges imo.
My top 3 would've been Angeria, Plastique and (call me crazy) Gottmik if things were fair. I get it's reality tv, but in no universe should Vanjie be in the top over Plastique.
Roxxxy did amazing this season. Because her runways, that she made on her own, weren’t as good as plastique or gottmik, should discount her talent. No I don’t think so. Roxxxy took the money and the rest had their outfits made for them.

Well, in my humble opinion, the make over episode was a pivotal moment this season. I say that as many people, myself included, feel that the win should have gone to Plastique and Jorgeous. Just this would totally change the final outcome/final 3 as Jorgeous and Plastique would both have 3 badges, while Roxxxy and Vanjie would have 4, leaving us with a top 3 of Angie, Plastique and Jorgeous.
That aside, I sure hope, considering the season as a whole and the top 3 that Angeria wins it. But then again, that’s my personal opinion; I’d be a tad annoyed if Roxxxy was to win it. And I really like Vanjie, and I’m glad she does well in the talent show, but her previous badges aren’t a strong showing. Anyhow, I feel like Vanjie has already won, in some ways, and by that I mean what’s she’s accomplished since walking backwards on s10. That being said, she’d be a very “interesting” winner…and it’s for charity! For the ASPCA! 🤭

all stars had so much potential to be better than the main franchise, but the producers really dont care for them at this point. no AS winner passed down their crowns (except that one time in AS4 where every AS winner appeared, but anyways). moments like this really show they don’t give a fuck
@@averykoi… girl Kylie literally had an injury at the time of filming for AS8, as evident by the fact that she was supposed to be a LSA on the penultimate episode of the season, but they had to call Priyanka in instead. It's not that 'the producers are getting lazy with All Stars,' but rather the fact that Kylie was literally injured and couldn't be there to be a LSA nor pass down the crown.
@@averykoiAlso, as for Monét and Trinity for AS5's Crowning, I believe they were on tour at the time of filming, so they weren't able to pass down the crown, however they were able to film a video message for the Top 3.
As for Shea and AS6's Crowning, one, the season was literally filmed during COVID, and two, Shea was most likely really busy, especially with filming the music video for her song, Collide, hence why she appeared as how she looked on Collide for her AS6 video message for the Top 4.
Again, it's not about laziness, *it's about availability.*

Hope Roxxxy Wins, story wise it would fit Yk Vanjie was good but i think yk her storyline from first boot to almost at the finale would finish with her finally in the finale, Angeria ngl is kinda to early to return maybe give her some more growth and she could be on a AS12 and win? i feel like roxxxy would have the best storyline first time she did amazing but was hated by fans second time did bad but was loved by fans this time did good and was loved by fans! it would fit for roxxxy to win!
I think last episode with Roxxxy talking about her charity really settled it for me. It's a local charity that she works with regularly and who has become her family. That's so important and such a good message to send out there.

Angeria deserves to win.. she could have won 5 challenges and is the nicest queen on set. Plus from the edit she’s gotten it will make the most sense that she wins. She’s also one of the three queens to not mistreat staff. Angeria for the win!!
