My Nahida crit build can do much damage than EM build since her sands are EM she can pop upto 31k damage while full EM can do 27k or lesser 500 EM critbuild and 1k EM build, stats really matters
If you are running hyper bloom with Raiden and Yelan/Xingqiu, DON'T build her full EM. She must be on field, and on field she gains 250 EM from Raiden (which should be built full EM 1000+). This allows you to run a dendro cup and if you have Solar Pearl, you can still use an EM circlet. Don't underestimate the dmg she can provide while generating blooms and applying dendro. My Nahida is constantly dealing 40k+ NA quickens while the blooms is around 34k and then there's the 20k+ tri karmas on top of that. It's insane! And she is still 6/8/6 and my SP is R3 rn!

That's much better since if you build kuki or other electro with 1000 em nahida will give 200 to the team based on kuki. And it's kuki doing the hyperbloom dmgs. I'm trying to get to that level of nahida as you but I'm on golden troupe. :D
ik it's from genshin but does anyone know the title of the song that starts at raw damage and if it's a cover? it just really sounds so beautiful it starts at 1:34
Nahida directly scales with em, just like how mosy dps characters directly scales with atk, so having proper amount of em definitely help in maximizing her e damage. So i would say going for a hybrid build is the best option (500-800 em with decent crit stats). Only exception is if she's used in teams where her em matters the most, like burning/bloom where nahida is the trigger, or just as a support that applies dendro and shares em (aka low investment)
actually my nahida is supposed to be Support, yet she somehow has 170 CD and 31 CR (gets increased with her 496 EM), I run her with two piece Gilded dreams, and 2 piece Deepwood Memories, and with Raiden in one team does between 1 and 20k per charged attack, if combined with her Burst.
Best setup by far is +700EM, after that, focus on Crit ratio. 800EM is max all you need because of her passive that will boost EM during her burst will get it to 1000EM. She is very versatile in multiple team comps.
@@jus4455 Depends on the team though, in hyperbloom my Kuki has ~800EM before buffs so Nahida doesn't really need to stack EM outside of personal damage. People don't appreciate how much damage Nahida's skill actually does. The times when you actually need to stack EM is if Nahida is the highest EM on the team and being used to buff, in Spread teams or Melt for example.
I’ve been debating this so hard. I have c2 with thousand dreams, and currently a good dendro piece because I lack an em for her sand piece. So either I can switch in a crit rate piece for her (once I have a good one) or an em sands (again once I have one).
If you have her signature weapon go for em sands, Dandreo goblet, em circlet. You can manage 900+ em that way. And if you can switch to a crit circlet and still manage to be 900+ em (by team buffs), you can switch to crit. Im going with the first one. Ps. I just got nahida C0, so if im making a mistake building her like this, any advic/corrections areappreciated. Thanks in advance.
@@ubaidmohamed3956 Leveling em over 1k is not recommended because that would mean she has max cr and bonus damage for tri-karma from her talent, I say crit damage or crit rate from a head piece, and dendro damage if you have her signature. i have 775 em, 35.3 cr, 162 cd with the gilded dreams 4 piece at level 89 and needless to say, nahida is insanely strong with support, otherwise she does 225 no crit and 1200 crit, but bloom sprouts do 10k, burgeon does 12k, aggravate and spread do 30k, and burning does 1.4k per hit marker. This is done with sac frags, rank 5 level 90, talent 7 for all schemes, talent 4 for illusory heart, and level 2+1 with normal attacks because of childe's passive, and at Constellation 0.
First person I’ve heard say that… most say EM/EM/Crit instead. I calculated without team buffs she’ll be 870 if I leave her with the Dendro sands. If I give her a dendro teammate that does put her over 1000 (100 for resonance, 32 for bonus from the weapon), but thusfar have avoided that.
Dunno, I am curious where people are assuming 1K EM while maintaining non-EM on 2 artis. Maybe they assume she is mostly on-field damage support so she gets her own buff? Again, with sig weapon and a 61 substat arti I barely hit the 1K otherwise, and that is with full EM artis.
I'd argue that the best build for anything besides spread dps would be EM, EM, crit rate on gilded dreams. With that alone you'll have ~ 720 EM without EM weapon and 900+ EM if you use an EM weapon. The crit rate circlet offers far more crit value than you'll get through her passive and even the bonus damage from the passive isn't enough to compensate for that. Also, that's not even counting any possible EM substats on feather, flower and circlet. If you, like me, use her on teams where you have an Elegy holder she'll get another 100 EM so she'll easily be at 800+ ~ 1000 EM. Deepwood should always be used on the character that contributes the least damage to the team and if you use her with Zhongli, deepwood isn't even as necessary (technically Zhongli could hold and proc deepwood, but in most cases it's rather unreliable due to small aoe on pillars). Personally, I'm really enjoying an alteration of the "Archon team" (as the name suggest, all 4 currently available archons), where I use Nahida, Raiden, Zhongli and Yelan (instead of Venti). Not exactly f2p friendly, especially in my case with both Raiden and Nahida at c2 (the others c0 though), but for me it's really worth it. Raiden gets EM boosts from Nahida and Yelan (elegy) so you can build her like always and still get ~20k hyperblooms (with a chance to get 40k hyperblooms with Nahida c2). Additionally, both Raiden and Nahida c2 shred defense (not additive but multiplicative though, which still adds up to a total of 72% defense shred during Raiden ult), whereas Nahida's defense shred is universal as far as I know, so even Yelan's attacks benefit from it and while the initial hit of Raidens ult does not really benefit too much from aggravate, her NA and CA during burst get a decent boost. So on top of Raiden's decently boosted damage you also have decent damage contribution from both Nahida, Yelan and hyperblooms. Zhongli for multi element shred including dendro. All in all, the team damage is higher than hypercarry Raiden, thanks to Raiden still doing a lot of damage and several additional sources of damage. Not sure about Raiden National though, might be actually equally strong or maybe just slightly weaker, but at least for me way more enjoyable to play.

It depends on how you play her. If you gonna use her as an enabler, it's better to go full em. But I'm triple crowning her and using her on field a lot, so dps build it is.
yeah what about if you have her C4 that increase EM by 100 or more based on enemy and also her signature weapon, also another dendro in team for her burst and that character or someone in the team also posses something like freedom sworn. at that point you overcap on EM no? like over 800 for sure maybe even 100 and is worth going with the dps build
you didn't show charged attacks but it's fine, just by looking at normal attacks the result is obvious, actually i really like using dps nahida, balanced em and atk with full wanderer's troupe feels really nice considering that her charges are very quick, so please, don't underestimate her dps potential
it seems like em is better in ever situation for consistency. the dps loss on your normals isnt worth the disparity in the e dmg. u lose 7k per tik on the e when on dps and lose like 4k total dps from normals ( if we are being generous) on normals if your doing autos which you would still spread the last one in chain (the biggest dmg multiplier) in the string if u run em with spread. the buuuff from ur ult is also going to help you mroe if you run em. the crit rate is lower on em build so thats definetly a concern but over all I think em build is more beneficial for consistency. there are few comps where building crit will get you a good enough dmg increase to justify building for it. if u built crit then its not going to be awful but your missing a lot. im thinking about going crit but im not sure yet. edit: im buildign 2 sets just in case.
I think doing a hybrid build with Nahida makes the most sense since she only actually needs 600em which is reachable with only 2em pieces (even 1 piece assuming em weapon), Sucrose/C2 Kazuha add 200em to Nahida, then she'll be at 800 then you use Nahida burst and she'll be at 1000em; meaning you'll always have 450em buff on teammates (200 if you don't snapshot correctly or the teammate isn't active) and Nahida's passives will be capped Basically even if it's an off-field Nahida it's worth building her somewhat like an on-field with 2 (sometimes 1) em piece; I think it's definitely worth changing goblet to Dendro but circlets seem to be very similar in damage so you should do your own testing in that case (likely just the best substats wins but crit damage usually has the highest damage ceiling) Edit: Keep in mind there's other ways to boost the team's em like Dendro resonance (don't recommend in Nahida teams), instructor (only really used on Kuki, possibly em Raiden) and Nahida's signature; then for Nahida only em boosts, Gilded dreams (rarely recommended on Nahida), 2 piece em sets (highly don't recommend on Nahida)
Just remember, Nahida talent 1 passive only give bonus EM to "active character" not for the whole team like sucrose and kazuha C2 Also all %EM increasing effect cannot snapshot, It always use base EM of said characters. So, you need 800 EM Nahida for consistent total 1000 EM
I'd like to point out this is great info, but also not the entire story. I wonder how the comparison fares with specific weapons, Gilded Dreams instead of Deepwood, and different complete team comps.
the DOT does more dmg on EM build, notably a 30K vs 22K , however when 'applying' E.Skill or doing some normal attack( which is irrelevant) or when Tri-Karma procs then Crit values most. Crit build seems to do a minor 3K above when applying skill now you also need to fact in that EM gives more EM to your main dps as well but also gives C.Rate I'd say IT DEPENDS on 3 things : Your main dps, your playstyle and your stats , if you're using another EM max character like Kazuha. Do you have those 120-ER to keep Nahida burst up and running, can you afford to swap her to do her burst during your rotation? Does your main dps scale off EM, is he already cap at 1000, does his set focus on reaction dmg? Do you have 40-50 CV artifact, 100EM with some CV and ER on them. I'd say the sweet spot is between 700 EM , 45-50ish C.Rate and 180-200% C.dmg if your main dps is a Hu Tao with 200-300 EM and CV build. If your main dps is a Nilou , Cyno or Yae Miko, then you'd want to have 1000 EM on Nida or around to max out your main dps if your rotation is too tight, and you can't afford to swap to nahida to get those 250 EM, then focus on building her crit dmg cause then
@@Shadow33rg if she’s triggering a crap ton of reactions, then EM may be better, as well as it offers more utility to her team in some form Maybe roll for offensive substats on her EM pieces

Have gone with 1000 em DW to maximize her support capabilities. Definitely lower dmg than dps nahida but when burst is out to support the team I believe the team dps would be higher.
Maximum boost for skill only 1000em, burst make up maximum about 200em more so I think about 800em total enough. 1 more art probably can goes to cr/cd. Correct me if wrong.
EM, EM, Crit Rate is the way I'm going. I would've gone triple EM but I got a crazy Deepwood Crit Rate circlet that just has to be used on the Dendro archon
Hmm, you're measuring a lot of the reactions completely wrong. Bountiful core dmg is based solely on Nilou's Max HP, not Nilou's EM or any other character's EM. Normal dendro core dmg is based on the EM of the triggering character. Spread reactions happen when you apply Dentro TO Electro (you applied it backwards which took into account Kuki's EM, not Nahida's). Transformative reactions take into account the triggering character's Level and EM, if you trigger a reaction with a 200 EM character instead of a 900 EM Nahida, you will be dealing way less damage, since Nahida wasn't the one who triggered the reaction, thus the other character's attributes would be used to calculate the reaction damage. Taking into account that Transformative Reactions like Hyperbloom, Bloom, Burgeon, Bountiful cores and Burn don't crit and scale off EM, building crit for these types of reactions will only affect Nahida's attack damage, not the damage of the reactions she creates, so it is not optimal at all to bring Crit Rate/DMG to these reactions since there is no a single multiplier related to Crit in the formula for those reaction. However Quickened based reactions CAN crit, both Aggravate and Spread can strike critical hits, building Crit Rate for these reactions alone is optimal. Funny fact is that Quickened based reactions can crit and bot scale the same as transformative reactions, with EM, you might consider this a "mini" reaction to each attack. I would advise reading about reactions and being a bit more knowledgeable about the game before posting a video like this.
I love how it’s really up to your discretion how you build this character. Also these crit %’s and EM seem like very minimal %’s EM and the damage is absolutely phenomenal.

My Nahida crit build can do much damage than EM build since her sands are EM she can pop upto 31k damage while full EM can do 27k or lesser
500 EM critbuild and 1k EM build, stats really matters
It's about what I expected, tbh. The dps build gives her more personal damage, while the em build gives more damage to reactions/her teammates.
I would use fischl instead of Raiden...I dunno but em Raiden seems an insult to me😂
Thanks. I'm using ZL, Xingqiu, Nahida, Kuki. And I I don't know if I should make Kuki on-field while Nahida's burst is on. Can you make a video, please? 🥺
@@SkillfulCurve Its so good actually. Raiden can hit cores from range and with a wide AOE constantly. Fischl doesn't actually hit cores very well, and would loose MASSIVE damage from going EM as a hyperbloom proc.
@@TheSejiMan I see!!
Yep kinda of 2k difference depending of substats
I will keep with EM cuz like that i get more crit rate so it's more consistent
Builds do similar dmg, honestly depends on subs (Em is more versatile tho)
EM also give the team a lot of buffs so overall is better
It's a dilemma we all Genshin players are facing ATM. It depends on if she's the enabler or not, on field or support. Different playstyles
Mine is a hybrid-ish build with magic guide, em-em-crit and 730 em with 56/155 ratio and honestly i enjoy it quite a lot compared to pure dps or triple em build
That's much better since if you build kuki or other electro with 1000 em nahida will give 200 to the team based on kuki. And it's kuki doing the hyperbloom dmgs. I'm trying to get to that level of nahida as you but I'm on golden troupe. :D
ik it's from genshin but does anyone know the title of the song that starts at raw damage and if it's a cover? it just really sounds so beautiful
it starts at 1:34
It's one of the aranara songs and I think it's a cover
You literally get 9% CRT rate with that em
THANK YOUUUU! This is the dilemma I'm currently in!
I feel so sad thinking about all the god EM + crit artifacts I burned 1 year ago, when em was "not necessary" only to get more flat defense 💀
if u want play nahida on-field, ofc dps build is better than em build
but if u want play her as a powerful support, EM is outstanding
but in this video they didnt take advantage of nahida passive which give share em from her burst and crit rate, so i think em still far superior
@@arminzakwan6579 i do same way, build nahida with 1000+EM, and now i can see big green damage every sec ;>
@@arminzakwan6579
Not only that, but E Skill has EM Scaling too (+ some Attack)
Nahida was just standing there while murdering a ruin guard. 😭😭😭
Best setup by far is +700EM, after that, focus on Crit ratio.
800EM is max all you need because of her passive that will boost EM during her burst will get it to 1000EM.
She is very versatile in multiple team comps.
This is only true for on-field Nahida though. If you use her as an off-field sub-dps you can (and should) still go higher on your EM.
That's only for on-field
You need 1k em for full em buff
I was thinking to about a build Em/ dendro/ Em I don’t know if it’s good
Dunno, I am curious where people are assuming 1K EM while maintaining non-EM on 2 artis. Maybe they assume she is mostly on-field damage support so she gets her own buff? Again, with sig weapon and a 61 substat arti I barely hit the 1K otherwise, and that is with full EM artis.
Naida was designed to make badass over the top reaction based damage. EM for her is dope!!!
Not sure about Raiden National though, might be actually equally strong or maybe just slightly weaker, but at least for me way more enjoyable to play.
the stats of the dps build in the video seems a bit off tho...
my dps build have 45 crit rate with 243 crit dmg and 800 EM and that's what u can call as a dps build
How much did that cost?
@@Atlas_Mohler didnt spent money lol
i just have some good artifacts and gave her Kagura Veridy cuz ye I got the weapon and I'm not pulling for yae miko
I think building a good balance between dps and em is a nice idea for me.
It depends on how you play her. If you gonna use her as an enabler, it's better to go full em. But I'm triple crowning her and using her on field a lot, so dps build it is.
*in fetal position* It has been over a year and I still don't understand how builds work...
yeah what about if you have her C4 that increase EM by 100 or more based on enemy and also her signature weapon, also another dendro in team for her burst and that character or someone in the team also posses something like freedom sworn. at that point you overcap on EM no? like over 800 for sure maybe even 100 and is worth going with the dps build
Now that my em has got over 1k I might swap out my em circlet for a crit dmg one. Might try to balence out the stats, hoping to increase her dmg
you didn't show charged attacks but it's fine, just by looking at normal attacks the result is obvious, actually i really like using dps nahida, balanced em and atk with full wanderer's troupe feels really nice considering that her charges are very quick, so please, don't underestimate her dps potential
Nahida's talent is 10, 10, 10. You must be on a private server.
I'm using on field dps Nahida in crit ratio 58/196 with 600 EM
Maybe for Nilou I should go for full EM ?🤔
If you have nilou signature, 600 is enough. Nahida will get 1000 em.
@@Diwaystation unfortunately I don't have Nilou's signature
it seems like em is better in ever situation for consistency. the dps loss on your normals isnt worth the disparity in the e dmg. u lose 7k per tik on the e when on dps and lose like 4k total dps from normals ( if we are being generous) on normals if your doing autos which you would still spread the last one in chain (the biggest dmg multiplier) in the string if u run em with spread. the buuuff from ur ult is also going to help you mroe if you run em. the crit rate is lower on em build so thats definetly a concern but over all I think em build is more beneficial for consistency. there are few comps where building crit will get you a good enough dmg increase to justify building for it. if u built crit then its not going to be awful but your missing a lot. im thinking about going crit but im not sure yet.
edit: im buildign 2 sets just in case.
I think doing a hybrid build with Nahida makes the most sense since she only actually needs 600em which is reachable with only 2em pieces (even 1 piece assuming em weapon), Sucrose/C2 Kazuha add 200em to Nahida, then she'll be at 800 then you use Nahida burst and she'll be at 1000em; meaning you'll always have 450em buff on teammates (200 if you don't snapshot correctly or the teammate isn't active) and Nahida's passives will be capped
Basically even if it's an off-field Nahida it's worth building her somewhat like an on-field with 2 (sometimes 1) em piece; I think it's definitely worth changing goblet to Dendro but circlets seem to be very similar in damage so you should do your own testing in that case (likely just the best substats wins but crit damage usually has the highest damage ceiling)
Edit: Keep in mind there's other ways to boost the team's em like Dendro resonance (don't recommend in Nahida teams), instructor (only really used on Kuki, possibly em Raiden) and Nahida's signature; then for Nahida only em boosts, Gilded dreams (rarely recommended on Nahida), 2 piece em sets (highly don't recommend on Nahida)
Just remember, Nahida talent 1 passive only give bonus EM to "active character" not for the whole team like sucrose and kazuha C2
Also all %EM increasing effect cannot snapshot, It always use base EM of said characters.
Crit build seems to do a minor 3K above when applying skill
now you also need to fact in that EM gives more EM to your main dps as well but also gives C.Rate
I'd say IT DEPENDS on 3 things : Your main dps, your playstyle and your stats , if you're using another EM max character like Kazuha.
If your main dps is a Nilou , Cyno or Yae Miko, then you'd want to have 1000 EM on Nida or around to max out your main dps
if your rotation is too tight, and you can't afford to swap to nahida to get those 250 EM, then focus on building her crit dmg cause then
Or you can do boths.
My Nahida has 700 em and 60/160 crit. With party buffs she has 1200 em
in other words, the difference is so minimal that it doesn't matter anyways
The team gains lots of EM , she gains CR and ad DMG ... no way DPS build be better ✌️

She needs both basically. You can't ignore EM. But building EM only without any crits will also not work as well.

I would advise reading about reactions and being a bit more knowledgeable about the game before posting a video like this.
still haven't been able to get a good em goblet so am using em dendro em for now n it's working fine thus far .
I love how it’s really up to your discretion how you build this character. Also these crit %’s and EM seem like very minimal %’s EM and the damage is absolutely phenomenal.
Its not an EM build, Its a hybrid... If you really want to compare its should be 0 Crit vs 0 EM.
