I picked up their plastic socket rails to replace the stamped steel ones I've had forever and they're so much nicer they stand up flat and the sockets pull off really nice. It was like 20 bucks for 1/4, 3/8 and 1/2 drive all together
I personally think these will ever replace nut holder sockets like the Koken as it uses a ball to hold on. Like Doc showed it can hold on to non magnetic fasteners. Now as replacing magnetic sockets you could have an argument for that. But this will not stop me from getting the whole Koken set (which Koken now sells). I might buy these for my road kit but a big maybe. Olsa tools never seem to have items in stock and that does concern me.
Hey Doc do you happen to have any Wera sockets? I can't seem to get these to insert in mine. I called Olsa and they want me to send them a video. I used my Knipex flush cutters to cut the tabs plus I have loops (magnification) on so it's not that. These are just really tight for me.
The 10mm socket insert is already missing!
😂
It's with the 10mm socket
Thanks for checking out the magnetic socket inserts! 🙌

Neat addon to have. When I need to hold the nut in a socket I usually take some paper towel and wedge the nut into the socket with it
Hello again, Doc
Thank you for another Great Video 👍
Great video just in time For a vehicle I'm working on with hard to get 2 places This way you could take the nut off and guide it back in places
Those would really be handy
I love my Koken Nut Grips but for the price of these it's a yes. Very clever design because they are easier to clean than a magnetic socket

Shallow broached sockets are gonna be the only problem but man that's neat
Neat you can get those in larger sizes...
great vid doc
I might have to get me a set for working on 5kv gear

how did it take so long to think of these?!
Interesting
Pretty nice for the price but the shipping, it’s the same price as the inserts.
