Absolutely beautiful, but does it really matter of your ice has a cloud in it.

I know this comment is a year old and does matter to you, but maybe to others. Cloudy ice is a sign of trapped gasses. When added to a drink they can make your drink taste bad. The clearer the ice, the truer taste of the alcohol you are experiencing.

If you are going g to make clear ice longer the better also place in a freezer that you dont have to use all the time. Vibration will not yield the best results. Also run warm water over them to clear them up. When filling your ice makers use hot spring water for best results.

Nice video, sir. Hint: if you boil the water for five minutes it will make the spheres clear(er) as the boiling burns off the nitrogen that causes bubbles in the ice. I’m still baffled buy the price. At least it’s not over a grand like some sphere presses. Crazy!

What worries me is if I boil the water, I'm worried it MIGHT melt through the plastic.

@@Samgreen90 you gotta let it cool a bit before pouring into the mold 😄

@@7evYT I normally use hot water from the sink and I have five in total. Well six if you count the portable tumbler (that only makes one) when I got from Specs. One that makes four ice balls (like this one, but it was more square shape than rectangular). And the other four are about the same like this one, all of which in large sizes. All of which are meant to be crystal clear.
One in spheres, one in diamonds, one in cubes, and one in skulls.
But as you were saying, how long would I need it to cool down?

It's overpriced and poor quality, so many better options for less than half the price are available on Amazon.

At this point, I agree. I will be reviewing a new device I just got that was less than $60 and does 8 spheres at a time.

Um....i think u probably shouldnt do cocktails then.......complicated is the kinda the point, it's all about discovering new things and expanding your knowledge and flair........otherwise u may as well just make your standard whisky and cola............
      Go on....Google...."boring drinks to make"....
      Have fun .....(if u can)
